So useful! Mine lasted 7 years!

This is one of those things you didn't know you needed until you got it. I got my first one in 2016. It finally needed to be replaced in 2023 when the scraper broke off. I throw it in the dishwasher when it starts getting gross so it probably would've lasted longer if I hand washed it. Still worth it! I'm going to get the their new version with the drain plug. Hoping it lasts just as long.

Saved my flatware from a gruesome death.

I wish I would have known about this device years ago. It would have saved me some flatware, saved on the blades in the disposal, and I would not have had to fish out small items that tend to fall in. Yuck. I hate putting my hand in the disposal.

Does not fit in 3 1/8 inch disposals

Great gadget, very handy. The only issue I have is that it is a bit too wide to fit in my Waste King disposal with a 3 1/8 opening. Its nothing that a few minutes with sandpaper or a file wont fix though.

STOPS utensils from falling into the disposal!

Love it!!! After years of use took it's toll on my first I bought a second. With five littles putting their silverware into the sink I don't have to stick my hand in the disposal to make sure nothing in there before I turn it on! But yourself one ASAP

Safety benefits

My daughter suggested this gadget after a fork fell in the garbage disposal and was ruined. The device allows small amounts of waste to enter the disposal along with water, and prevents large items from falling in.

Great fit

This sits nicely in the top of the drain, stops utensils from falling into the disposal, let's through all the small food pieces, and cleans up easy.

Works great - allows water down, but not silverware, etc...

Love this thing... Let's me wash dishes w/o worry of losing something small down the disposal... Then when I need to rinse the little flat end part helps usher the food down to be ground up by the disposal. Totally recommend!

I didn't know how useful this would be until I had it!

This is such an ingenious product! I probably dropped a utensil down the garbage disposal twice a week before I had this. It's great because it allows water and some smaller food particles past it while it's in place, and it can easily be removed to scrape bigger pieces of food into the disposal, but it blocks larger items from falling down while it's in place. It's a great idea!

Works, well designed

Using for a Wasteking 8000 - so it sits just above the rim of the drain pretty well, the 'points' allow it to sit pretty level. It's not 'fit' into the drain like a strainer would as the inner wall of the sink drain is flat and it would just fall through over time, so the design works. I bought red because it's our first waste disposal unit so i didn't want it to blend in. Keeps cutlery out very well, which is the main purpose wanted it for.
