These are good

These work pretty dang good for doing Olympic weightlifting in my garage. Was using pillows prior and this is a huge difference lol. The carrying handle is nice, and you can stash them away in a corner

Great for home gyms

I use these pads in my home gym so I can drop my barbell while Olympic Weightlifting. Pretty happy with these and the price. They have kept my floor protected and dull the "clang" of the barbell drop nicely. My only complaint is that one of the seems of the cover started to fray within just a few weeks of use. But, overall pretty happy.

Pretty good purchase!

I’m an Olympic weightlifter in my garage. Tried to find some affordable crash pads to keep from disturbing my neighbors. They work great. 7.5 ft drop to the floor barely made any sound and bounced about 3 inches. Not sure how long they’ll last. They seem to be made pretty well so I’m sure it’ll last a while. As for value, I think timing wasn’t the best. I saw people bought this for like $90 which would have been a steal

Solid, but not for me for deadlift purposes.

The media could not be loaded. I got this along with the 6" plyo box to drop deadlifts , and it worked well enough, but this will be pulling from a slight deficit. The plyo box isn't rated high enough for my kind of weights at 400lbs+ so, ultimately, it's not for me. It also made loading and unloading more of a hassle even with my jack, due to the compression, I couldn't get enough elevation. That said, I think these are great for the price for people dropping things from above the waist, they do a great job at dampening sound and vibrations. For myself just using these essentially for deadlifts, I will stick to deadlifting on rubber mats and controlling my eccentrics.

Excellent Deal!

I have the titan silencer pads and needed another set, and got these on sale (~$70) for less than half of what I paid for the Titan ones. Smoking deal! The yes4all pads are just as sturdy as the Titan ones but the quality is a notch below. There are loose threads from the zipper and time will tell whether these will hold up as well as the titan ones (2 years of consistent use in weightlifting, lots of drops from overhead and rack position), but I feel like they will hold up no problem! Great deal

Can’t beat them for $100

I bought these while I am living with my parents during the construction of my new house. I work out in their garage which backs up to their bedroom. When I deadlifted it shook the whole house if I dropped from the waist. Now you can’t even hear it outside the garage. I have also dropped it from head height for clean and jerk and snatches using weights that are standard for most CrossFit workouts (95, 135 lbs) with no complaints. Did I mention I usually work out at 5am? They may not be as fancy as buying pads from Rogue or Abmat but it’s just a foam pad. I have left the weights on them a few time and there is a small depression in the middle but you can’t beat $106 with one day shipping. No point in dropping stacks on a foam pad unless you really want to flex for the gram :)

Pretty Good but Zipper is Poor Quality - Updated

These just arrived today and I put them to use doing some sets of cleans. I have never used pads before so was not sure how well they would work. I couldn't tell from watching videos online of other big brands how much they would silence the drop or not. These make a massive difference and also take out the clatter of the plates against the bar as well as the impact. In regards to training with them, instead of having to cycle the bar to the ground, I can now drop it. A set of heavy cleans with these totally made it feel like cheating! It halves the work or more the you are doing and enables you to focus on lifting heavier loads. At $130 these are awesome vale. About half that of bigger name brands. Each one is about 20lbs. In the photo the bar is 285lbs so you can see how solid they are. I will also be able to use them as a 6 inch block. Am so happy with them. If you are sitting on the fence or not even on it yet, buy them! ***Update**** OK so zipper issues... the zipper came apart in one, I thought no problem I will unzip and zip back up, but this is impossible as the end of the zipper is sewed in, so I unpicked it but it is impossible to zip back up. So now it is stuck together with duct tape...

Greatly reduces sound and vibrations

I use these for deadlifting with weights that exceed 500 lbs. Haven't had them very long but the pads are holding up so far. Almost entirely eliminates the noise, no more shaking the whole house. They work amazingly for this purpose. The pads will depress as the weight gets higher. With 400+ lbs they depress about 1.5". I built a 4.5" platform to stand on and that puts the bottom of the plates about where my feet are on heavier pulls. Very much recommend. Haven't tried other brands but these were the cheapest and apparently you'll have to swap em out after 6-12 months anyway, so no reason to break the bank.

Perfecto!

Since lockdown I started working out a lot at home, regularly using slam balls in the garage. Throwing heavy slam balls directly onto concrete made quite a bit of noise which isn’t ideal when you’ve got neighbours and an annoyed Mrs. Granted these are primarily for dropping barbells, /logs onto but I needed them mainly for this and they haven’t disappointed. A lot cheaper than a lot of the mainstream brands and have so far done the trick!

Works well with the 4inch yes4all stackable plyobox

I'm using iron plates and the noise is still very minimal. Mainly got them to protect the flooring for deadlifts. Because of the extra height added, using the 4inch stackable plyobox from Yes4All mimics a pull from the floor. At 300+ lbs the 6inch pads sink about 1.5 inches and the 4inch plyobox is actually around 4.5 inches so it works out

Do exactly what they need to do

The silencer pads do just what you want them to do. I’ve dropped 200+ pounds and you have little to no noise. They stack well and you can place them side by side on the wall and they take up little space. Overall good product
