Very comprehensive starter kit

Included everything needed for a beginner. Only needed to purchase the ingredients and bottles to complete my 1st batch of wine.

Missing and damaged items

The bucket lid has a hole from pressure- it was sitting on top of carboy. Only part of the siphon was included. Disappointed.

Broken hydrometer and gas bubbler

The media could not be loaded. Everything else was OK, but the hygrometer and gas bubbler were broken.

Suggest you take a wine making class before you spend your money on this kit.

First time want to be a wine maker, would had been easier if detailed instructions and recipe were included with the kit.

Great Winemaking Kit

Excellent for beginning winemakers. I would prefer the floor model corker but this works well. Easy to use. Love making wine. This is perfect!

missing parts

quality of the product is ok, but missing parts in the package, so I have to order stuff separately, the parts missing luckily are not those critical , here are the parts missing : 1. the hydrometer tube container, 2. the plastic spoon, 3- the thermometer. would have given 5 stars should the vendor being more careful on either their packaging, don't think they do that on purpose, as those are cheap stuff, but creating a hassle for the buyer....
