Is what it is

Beware that this kit is not suitable for most newer appliances. I ordered one for a Whirlpool gas dryer per cross-references and then had to go to Whirlpoolparts.com to learn what the correct kit was.

Easy Peasy (Be careful with the wiring in the area especially on older dryers)

Easy install...Just be SURE to install the correct #54 orifice for LPG and not the extra #55 which is for butane. (I didn't know anyone used butane to power large appliances). Anyway, incredible simple for both parts. JUST be careful. There's a few wires down there and given this was a good working in good condition older dryer,I accidentally popped a terminal off the flame detector with no way to solder it back on. (another 15 bux, probably needed to replace that anyway given the fact the sensor is make of bakelite that's old and been exposed to heat for so, many, years). Parts are very tiny now, be sure to be in a well lit area so if you accidentally drop them, you can find them. That includes to NG orifice in case you go back one day. All that being said, if it is a used dryer, be sure to do a thourough cleaning of all the nooks and crannies. I used a shop vac, being sure to check wiring, the drum belt, and the drum rollers (Including the spring idler pully near the motor).

Easy convert to LP

Did a propane conversion on a kenmore Elite H3 Dryer, found an install instruction pdf online by entering this part number and LP conversion. If your dryer fits this kit, find a youtube video on disassembling your dryer. I purchased a 5ft BBQ style quick (steel braided) connect that has the correct Water Column, must be between 8" and 13" and btu between 20,000 and 40,000. You will also need to change out the 3/8" flange at the rear of your dryer and replace with 5/16", bought this at Ace Hardware. A gas dryer uses about 20 gallons of propane on average per year, so you could use 20lb tanks or invest in a 100lb Tank.

Easy enough, works great, simple

I wasn't sure, since the dryer we have is not the exact model, but it was on the cross reference list. Removed the burner assy from the dryer, replaced the two parts, reinstalled, connected to the propane system, tested, works great. I think the clothing might dry faster than on NG, but that could just be my miss-estimating. Glad I bought this kit.

Fits old Canadian Kenmore Dryer 110-9664291

Hard to get in but fit. Have not been able to test for full function as I dropped door front screws putting back together3 times and the belt slipped off without my knowledge so I buggered the belt. Waiting for one of those now lol. Note to self always recheck belt positioning.

El kit es perfecto para mi secadora Maytag y cuenta con instrucciones claras.

Me gustó que el kit viene con 2 espreas (butano o propano) para la conversión a gas LP, así mismo las instrucciones son muy especificas e incluso vienen las etiquetas para pegar en la secadora y hacer del conocimiento que fue convertida de gas natural a LP. ¡Recomiendo ampliamente su compra!
