Has potential to be great

I’ve been using this for about a month and a half and here are my thoughts: 1.) The color itself is ever so slightly darker than what is shown in product images. I bought this in the winter, so I am thinking it will be suit me for spring-summer. If you can find this product in stores, I feel like your chances of finding a matching color are higher. 2.) I wear glasses throughout the day with heavy lenses, no matter what kind of setting powder or spray you pair with this, it will move around. It’s very dewy and hydrating, but not long lasting. It will absolutely give you that glass-like dewy skin makeup with the clean girl look, but it can be a little frustrating if you’re a girlie that doesn’t like makeup to budge. 3.) It lays on a sheer, lightweight coverage that is possible to build off of, but I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s a skin tint, not a foundation. It’s not meant to be full coverage, it’s meant to even the skin tone. You’ll have to spot conceal if you are worried about blemishes. I love the sheerness, however. I believe it gives a much more natural feel, and if applied correctly, it gives my skin a great complexion. 4.) It’s not great when layered with other products. I’m not saying it’s completely impossible, but I notice a little bit of creasing around my nose area when I use my concealer on top of it. I’ve experimented with it a bit and applying the concealer with less product and a lighter hand gives a way flattering finish. Opposite to that, patting left over product under my eyes makes my conceal blend in so much more nicer—i seriously don’t know why that is but it makes for a great, even base. Overall, I will be repurchasing as I’m a high-school student and lighter makeup appeals to me. The price point is amazing and it doesn’t make my skin feel tight or caked on at all. It lasts me the school day and I’ve gotten compliments since using it. I’d definitely give it a try!

Good color and evens, just too Dewey for me

I purchased this on a whim, because I was traveling, and I ran out of my usual Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer with SPF. This was super cheap, and the color for my skin really well. It does a great job of blurring. And you can easily blend it with your fingers. Now, the photo that I saw on Amazon had a label that mentioned oil free. What I received was the tinted hydrator, which is not oil free. Therefore, this product was just too Dewey on my combination skin. I have to say, though I liked how creamy it was, how it blurred, yet, it was still sheer enough to look natural. If this product had been oil free, I would love it. It is a fraction of the price of the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer that I usually wear. I am still going to keep it and use it when I go out for outdoor exercise since I will get Dewey and sweat anyway. I’m really glad that wet and wild is making that’s affordable product.

Go 1 to 2 shades down.

Definitely do not go above porcelain or fair if you're light skin. I'm mixed Latina and Mediterranean (tan gold in summer, olive/fair in winter)... even the shade light was too orange for me and I'm already developing my summer color. Anything in the range "light" is for medium fake tans (salon or self tanner)... the deeper shades are pretty good though. My daughter is Latina, Mediterranean and Trini mixed and got a few of the deeper shades and all worked well for her skin tone. Worth mentioning: this product takes time to dry down but when it does, it's like a clay mask after a few hours. I find that it's best performance is after the first hour and lasts about 2 to 3 more hours. After that, wipe and reapply. I see a lot of people use it as a foundation... please don't play yourself and try to use this as a foundation on an important night out. This product is exactly what it says it is, a tinted hydrator with spf, meant to be used during the daytime for color correcting. Don't get crazy and try to glam it up.

Not bad for $5

This tinted hydrator / skin veil evens out my skin and minimizes imperfections without it looking like I have a ton of makeup on. It doesn’t fully cover pimples or dark spots but it does an amazing job at covering up the redness on my face. I don’t have severe rosacea or anything like that but my cheeks and forehead are quite pink and smoothing this over those areas with my finger does just enough that I feel beautiful without looking cakey. If I have any areas that I need more coverage, I’ll just dab a tiny bit of concealer and blend that out. For only $5 I really can’t be mad. I will say that the lightest shade, porcelain, isn’t very light. I’m not super tan or super pale but never have I been “porcelain” before. Porcelain is almost like a very pale white color, which I am not. I have a bit of yellow in my skin so that makes me look a little bit warmer. Personally, on top of this product I like to use a powder foundation to really give that smooth poreless flawless truly matte finish. This product is also good at not emphasizing texture. I believe because of the hydrating qualities of this product. It’s taken me a really long time to get my skin to a point where I didn’t really feel like I needed a super heavy super full coverage foundation to cover up all my acne and texture and imperfections. After I finally got my skin clear and started taking care of it, I decided I didn’t want to keep using my really heavy stuff and that I wanted to switch to something really light and natural looking. So this was perfect for that. I wanted to show this foundation really close up.

Hydrating, nice sheer coverage without any dry out

I bought mine in Fair and as you can see, I'm milk bottle white but the swatch shown blends out effortlessly and adapts to your skin tone. It doesn't oxygenate either. It's sheer but can be built and it holds the skins moisture in perfectly. I have recently switched to predominantly cream or oil formulas as my skin can be so flaky on my temples and cheeks either side of my nose. This went on as easily as any normal face moisturiser but with the coverage of a tinted moisturiser buildable to a sheer or even a slightly medium coverage as in, your own skin still shows proudly through as it should. I didn't need powder to set , fixing spray (Kilo Milano) was perfect for it too. Loving it so far. Might have to buy back ups!

Perfect daytime covering

This is much nicer than other more expensive brands. I'm 50yrs old and this is a perfect daytime, luminous and lightweight covering, and I'm a fan.

Great Product ????

It's an excellent product. I wasn't sure about it but its amazing on my 56 year old skin. It's got great coverage without being too thick. I've had many comments about how flawless my skin looks. in fact I've had acne and have average skin. Great and will be my new foundation. Only thing to point out is that it comes out of the tube very quickly and I wasted a little.

Holy grail for me!

I love this product, completely and have already begun stocking up. I compared it to other tinted moisturizers and BBs and this one was the clear winner. I have combination-dry skin, fair-light with golden undertones. The Light-Medium blends seamlessly and I am curious to try Light for more warmth, and Fair-light for the t-zone, darker shades for t summer. Though the ease and excellent blendability of it tells me that each shade will work year round. It blends beautifully and easily with no sponge or brush required, leaves a radiant, dewy finish with skin that looks healthy and plump with hydration, which is a miracle for my skin. And my face feels great wearing it, not tight nor heavy like with so many products. It feels like a quality moisturizer, a 'skin-gift' rather than makeup. It's slightly sticky which helps longevity and flexibility, can be powdered/sprayed to set without sacrificing finish. If using powdered blush or bronzer you'll need to powder first and use a gentle hand and a fluffy brush that doesn't pick up or deposit too much pigment. For cream products it's a great base to work with. So far I like the finish as is, radiant, glowy and fresh and I only use setting powder under eyes and in the t-zone. This is a great, easy application/wear choice stocked full of hydrating ingredients for an affordable price. The tubes are average for a foundation (27 gms), so be prepared to want more as soon as you try it. For my skin it's ideal, and I have amassed an embarrassing amount of bases. And I like that WnW doesn't add unnecessary bulk and packaging for their products making them fully recyclable, portable and easy to use to refresh face throughout the day. I'm so happy with this. I'm compiling a cosmetic favourites box for a friend's birthday gift and this is going in it. Love, love, love.
