Ridiculously Cute!
We buy cases of "real" Coca-Cola whenever its available at one of our local, specialty stores. These are the cane sugar, glass bottles that require a bottle opener. We've had a sad, cheap opener for a while now ... and it works, sure, but it doesn't celebrate that glass-bottle, cane-sugar Coke gloriousness. When we saw this cool little guy, we knew this was the bottle opener for us! This is wonderfully small (so doesn't take up much real-estate in the kitchen drawer), absolutely shiny, and (obviously) works like a charm! There is one element that could make this pineapple bottle-opener perfect ... a little magnet on the back! Since we share a Coke with dinner every night, we use it quite frequently. Our old one stayed quietly stuck to the side of our fridge, where it was handy ... sooo, I might just glue one to the back of this pineapple ... I mean, what better fridge decoration could you want?! I'm deducting one star for not having the traditional magnet ... but, undoubtedly, this is adorable! Get some hot glue, a magnet, tweak this a tad ... and PERFECTION!!!!

A shiny bottle opener in the shape of a pineapple. It's not the most practical shape (the pointy leaves are uncomfortable to grip tightly), and is more suitable for display than use. That said, the typical bottle cap doesn't need a lot of force to open, and between twist-offs and cans, bottles that need an opener are becoming less common. To W&P's credit, the underlying material is stainless steel, preventing the eventual bleed-through of oxidization that happens with many plated products. Pictured: Compared to a standard "small" bottle opener, and in an average-sized male grip. This pineapple isn't going to replace a bar blade for easy bottle-opening (nor for bottle cap tricks), but might make that friend happy, you know, the one with a tropical motif and display of bar tools. Recommended for gifting to such folks.

Good Bottle Opener from W&P; Great Gift for Those, Like Me, Who Collect Pineapples!
I'm old fashioned. I still enjoy drinking sodas from glass bottles. I'm always using a bottle opener. I have one that is magnetized; it remains stuck to my refrigerator. I also collect pineapples. They are a symbol for hospitality and for friendship. I own a crystal vase, several ceramic hanging plates, and candle stands that are in the shape of pineapples. Naturally, I was quick to select the pineapple bottle opener from W&P. It is perfect for giving as a gift. It came inside a plastic sealed envelope, wrapped in tissue paper, and a hanging tag with the company information was attached to its handle. The color is a beautiful, shiny antique copper. Its finish is satiny smooth. The pineapple has the recognizable appearance of a pineapple. I didn't have to guess about it. I've already used the bottle opener to open up a root beer, a black cherry soda, and an orange soda that I recently purchase from my local grocery store. I also used it to open up my first twelve ounce glass bottle of peach flavored Coca Cola. It was delicious. The peach flavor was strong. I will be purchasing more of these. Each time I used it, the bottle opener worked fine. I never encountered any problems. The bottle opener lies perfectly flat. Easily hung from a nail, it would make a great wall decoration. Near my kitchen window, I recently took down an old print that faded from age and too much sunlight. I may hang it on the nail that is still in the wall. Overall, I think the W&P Pineapple Bottle Opener is a good bottle opener and it would make an excellent gift for someone, like me, who collects pineapples.

Chic Pineapple bottle opener
We moved across the country and a few boxes were lost or stolen along the way - a bottle opener was one of the items that needed to be replaced. This cute little pineapple bottle opener works well and matches my pineapple cocktail shaker! So far this has opened a few beers and soda's and worked well. I hand wash if it gets dirty and dry it and put it away.
