Thicker than cheaper bags.
Nice large bags for storing your flour sugar or cereal box in to help cut down any pests (as in ants or roaches not thick enough to prevent mice or rats!!). I put a dessicant pack in each also and so far that works well. Place bagged items in a Rubbermaid tub (or similar) and usually rats leave that alone. If not you have bigger problems than food storage!! But these are great bags. Pricey yes but big and again thicker than most. Easily reused for my purposes. Bet they're great in the freezer. Shop around in price.

A great option for hard to find zip bags!
I've been looking for 2 gallon zip bags for a while in local stores with no luck. I finally looked here on Amazon, and found this box of 100 Freezer 2 gallon bags. I have been very happy with them--this is such a useful size and the thickness has been sturdy enough for my various sewing and craft supplies and in-progress projects. I will definitely buy again.

Very nice
These freezer bags are great. Big enough for a full loaf of bakery bread. The pressure zip closure is much easier to manage than Ziploc's other freezer bags, and it closes securely. The plastic feels like a lighter weight, so don't know how well it will protect from freezer burn. Other than that, I like them.

When you need a 2 gallon freezer bag.
I can no longer find two gallon freezer bags locally. I buy in bulk, individually wrap and store in 2 gallon freezer bags for long term storage in my freezer. These do the trick and are better than the Food City bags I used to purchase.

Great for big lego sets
I'm using these to keep lego sets stored so they can be built again sometime or sold secondhand. These are great for larger sets. I can also put some things in still built. I'm finding additional storage uses for them too like other toy sets, play doh items, etc. If you are trying to keep your kids stuff together in a cost effective manner you need these!

Hard to find this size in retail stores
This size is perfect for storing items in the garage, kitchen and around the house. We also use this size for sous vide cooking. Convenient to order them in the 100 pack as they are impossible to find in stores (and who really wants to go to a store to purchase household items?). The quality is the same as in the smaller and more expensive retail packaging. As for using them for sous vide for more family sized portions, they claim these are BPA and Dioxin free and made from polyethylene. I cannot verify, but at least there's a manufacturer's site and information that is available, which I can't always find from other bag manufacturers.
