Part of the solution

This is an attractive good running car. The added feature of the cleaning pad has not caused any problems at all. No derailments. It certainly isn't the sole solution in keeping your track clean and I would encourage others not to think of it as such. I have been using a track eraser which does a thorough job but you are also putting more elbow grease into the job. This concept is a good idea in reducing buildup as you run the rails.

Very nice track cleaning car that blends with the type of train I am running. The car is excellent quality and pulls well even when I run two of these at a time.

Bachmann HO Track Cleaning Car

This car works well. It has metal wheels,body-mounted couplers,good weight and is nicely detailed. The track cleaning pad pivets under the center and has not derailed. I use this car all the time to maintain clean track.

Works ok

Ran for 20 min. Didn't take off a lot of dirt. Running finger after 20 min still has dirt on finger. No instructions came in box either

In case anyone was wondering since it never says in the description, this is HO scale.

Doesn't really do an effective job

Although this tank car looks nice, it really doesn't do a very effective job in Cleaning Track. I would not recommend.
