Unsafe, badly made, miswired nightmare

There’s no way this was tested at all before they shipped it out. One entire string in the middle does not light, with at least six defective bulbs, several of which were actually wired backwards internally (LEDs only work in one direction), and at least one of the bases is also wired backwards and won’t light anything. Multiple other bases won’t light any bulbs even if the bulbs themselves work. This should not have passed QA in even the cheapest junk factory in the world. And we can’t even use it for this season because we would have to cut it, and we can’t return it if we do that. And we cannot get a replacement because there aren’t any for sale. Completely dissatisfied doesn’t cover this level of product failure. When you spend a couple of hundred bucks on something, you darn well don’t expect to get something with sockets half assembled and exposed wiring that looks like it came from the bargain bin at a direct-from-China import shop down on the wharf. And no, I’m not kidding. A couple of the bases actually were showing copper out the bottom.
