No Hardware Included - UPDATE

Update 03/30/2023: I received the hardware kit via FedEx just a few days after speaking with customer care, and assembled it tonight. As mentioned below, quality is about what you'd expect from a manufactured wood product like this. Sturdy enough, but not 400-lb-solid-wood-take-shelter-under-during-tornado sturdiness. It seems about as durable as other similar items I've purchased that have lasted years and years (but have never seen a tornado). The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Assembly was simple enough, albeit time-consuming, as is the case with any furniture that has multiple drawers. Overall I'd say great value for the price. It's labeled as kids furniture but could easily serve as an adult dresser. Word of advice: Have a drill with a screwdriver attachment or a power screwdriver handy. This is especially useful for attaching the drawer tracks; there are a lot of small screws that have no pilot holes for them, you'll be making the holes yourself. I updated my review from 3 to 4 stars. Original Review: I opened the box and arranged all of the pieces to prepare for assembly, only the find that the hardware was not included. This is probably a one-off case, but frustrating nonetheless. I was hoping for the ability to just request the hardware through Amazon, but the only option was to return/exchange the item. I am not boxing this thing back up. I contacted the manufacturer directly by phone, explained the situation, and they provided instructions on how to order just the hardware. I provided the requested information via email, now I wait. I will say the rep I spoke with was very helpful and friendly, and the hold time to speak with a live person was only a few seconds. The materials/quality are as expected for a manufactured wood item like this, no complaints there. I will update the review after I receive the hardware and am able to assemble it.

Over all worth it

It’s cute and works great! We had some problems with the top drawer not pulling in and out smoothly, but it does what we need it to do

Not terrible, but not great

Sturdy. Instructions were not hard to follow. It looks nice overall, but here are why I only gave it 3 stars. 1. Obviously, it's not a fine piece of furniture, so the best I would have given it would be 4 stars. 2. I couldn't see this in the photos, but there are gaps between the drawers that essentially let you see inside the dresser. Yes, it's all black and dark, so you cannot really see into it, but you can see the gaps between the drawers in good lighting, and I find it annoying. 3. The front edge of the top piece is plastic. This makes sense for children's furniture, I suppose, but I don't like it since it kind of makes the whole thing look cheaper. Again, this is only noticeable in good lighting. 4. The bottoms of the drawers is very, very thin. You'd think it'd be the same wood as the sides of the drawers, but it's not. It *is* wood, but it's thinner than cardboard.This was by far the most disappointing thing about it. It hold clothing just fine, but I am concerned that my child may break through the bottom of the drawer on accident (he is currently 9, and he's only going to get bigger and more capable of doing this). Sadly, a few weeks after purchasing this I was at Ikea and saw a similar looking dresser (a bit plainer) that was the same price but actually had sturdy bottoms inside the drawers and no gaps. Since I bought this to put in a closet, the style made no difference and I would have preferred the sturdier Ikea dresser.

Love this, but paint will scratch off easily.

First, I LOVE this chest of drawers. It was easy to put together - took me about 3-4 hours by myself, working on it in between unpacking and work. It feels sturdy and fits all of my clothes. At 40, I figured it was time to stop using plastic bins or my linen closet to house my t-shirts, socks and "unmentionables" as my grandfather used to say. Very happy with this product. I did have two small issues. The bottom drawer face was drilled incorrectly so I had to order a *free* replacement. No big deal, but it took about two weeks to receive the wrong color one and then another two weeks or so to receive the correct one. The other issue is this scratches very easily. I was very careful with the pieces during construction but I still wound up scratching the paint off of a couple of places. Again, no big deal, I can fix that, but I've never had that problem on any of the other painted "build your own" furniture. That's the only reason I don't give it five stars.

Good enough but won’t buy Storkcraft again

I bought this for a guest room for company coming. Packaged well, no damage on arrival and easy enough to assemble. Directions could be better but since I’ve assembled many flat pack items I only got tripped up once. But....many cam locks were missing. Called Storkcraft and they said the parts would ship in 14 days! Ugh! I needed before that. The whole customer interaction was ‘scripted’ on their end you could tell. I asked to provide the size of the cam lock and she said she’d call me back in an hour. She did not, she emailed me. In the meantime, I remembered I had kept some from an old cabinet I had thrown out. Thankfully they fit and I had enough to complete the project. One cam lock on the foot pushed through the particle board on the front. I think the hole was too close to the edge. It’s workable for now but I won’t be buying their products again. If you purchase, beware that you need 2 weeks lead time if parts are missing!

This is a very nice dresser. It is perfect for My school-aged son

This is a very nice dresser. It is perfect for My school-aged son. He is able to see inside of each drawer for his clothing. It took me about 2 hours to assemble. After reading the reviews I took my time to make sure I followed the directions carefully. With the drawer track you have to be careful to install each track exactly as outlined in the directions or the drawers may line up incorrectly. I didn’t give it a 5 because the right side of the dresser shows some of the inside hardware. There is a small gap exists is not due where I installed the rails. This piece is pre-assembled.
