Comfort for long haul and steep hill - both road and gravel!

While saddle choice depends on body type, fit, and riding style, this saddle works perfectly for me! In fact, I now own TWO :) I ride BOTH endurance road AND long distance gravel bikes. I bought my first for the gravel bike. I ride miles of steep gravel roads in the Northeast. Unlike paved roads, the gravel roads really require that I stay seated on the uphills to avoid losing traction - the saddle is so comfortable for this! Not only is the padding sufficient for long and varied endurance rides, but the overall size and shape, combined with the outer material and solid construction, create a saddle that transitions effortlessly and painlessly from 40 mph downhill to 4mph uphill. On the pave roads, this saddle is a perfect complement to my carbon frame; I can pedal for hours on open road at 20+ and I honestly don't even feel the saddle, other than that it is comfortable on my rear. Lastly, it's just a great looking saddle! I highly recommend!!

Very comfortable

Very comfortable. I can ride several hours without “butt rot”. Bought this for my gravel bike and have been quite pleased. The break-in period was about 150 miles.

The seat is wide and padded. It is shorter than my previous saddle and provides a comfortable ride!

Ottima sella per uso Gravel

Sella ottima per uso gravel . Come al solito Selle Italia non delude mai. La Utilizzo sulla mia gravel d sono davvero molto soddisfatto. Sullo sterrato ha la giusta morbidezza, la consiglio vivamente.

Troppo dura e poco ergonomica (per me)

L'ho acquistata mentre cercavo la mia sella perfetta.. ma dopo 1 solo utilizzo l'ho rimandata indietro. Troppo dura e poco si adattava alle mie "forme". Forse ho sbagliato io a prendere la L3 e non la S3 (anche se le mie ossa ischiatiche sono misura 12.5) però davvero non mi ci sono trovato. Ho optato poi per la SMP Lite 209, una favola! Certo, costa decisamente di più ma una volta che sali in sella non ci pensi :D

Schön und gut

Durch Zufall habe ich den Gravel-Sattel von SelleRoyal entdeckt welcher auch für schwerere Fahrer wie mich geeignet scheint. Nachdem dieser Sattel auch in Braun erhältlich ist, habe ich zugeschlagen. Der Sattel ist sehr gut verarbeitet und ist durch die Ausnehmung im Dammbereich auch angenehm beim fahren. Zudem ist er soweit wetterfest. Er ist zwar nicht billig aber für mich seinen Preis wert.

Incredible Value

After doing my research on Selle Italia saddles for gravel bikes for big guys, I had settled on Selle Italia and liked the Novus Boost which met my sizing requirements. I also liked the heritage version that I saw on the Selle website, which is technically identical to the black saddle. When doing a search on where I could order this saddle, I found that Amazon was selling it for less than half the suggested retail price. Wow, great deal. The saddle itself is very comfortable for a big guy like me and fits as outlined in the Selle Italia sizing application. Much better than the stock saddle that came with my bike. Not only that, the heritage model looks great with my sandstone coloured Cannondale.

Very good looking and comfortable saddle

Very good looking saddle, definitely very pleased with the aesthetic. It also fits well and super comfortable for long rides. However, the quality could be better. As the first picture shows, the workmanship is questionable. The material at the underside is slightly torn. Not returning since it as it should not affect the overall performance and hopefully it would last me a long time.
