Great for beginners

This is a great dartboard for beginners, and people just learning, the Bristol works well, and the metal darts are easy to get out of. They also enter well when thrown played a lot of games of cricket on this one.

This product is very sturdy and has held up so far and I've been using it for two years, when the time comes and I have to purchase a new one, this is where I'll be ordering it from, I would definitely recommend this item

Using it for soft tip practice. Works great.

I'm primarily a soft tip player. The reason I bought this board was because my Arachnid soft tip board is quite noisy and my wife can hear it throughout the house. so I bought this board to practice on while she is sleeping. I also bought a set of carbon fiber convertible tips. I have to say I don't even use the carbon tips. The soft tips stick in the dartboard just fine. And it makes very little noise. I find myself shooting on it as much if not more than the soft tip board for 3 reasons. 1. It's quiet 2. It's really easy to remove the darts. 3. The targets are smaller so when I go to play on the soft tip board or in league/tournament play, the bullseye and the trebles look huge. so it's great for practice. The only reason I give it a 4 instead of a 5 is because the instructions are really bad. It's just a slip of paper with some broken english describing how to play darts. And it doesn't even describe the game 01 or cricket. also no instructions on how to mount the board. It comes with a little bag with the hardware. Which consisted of a bracket, 3 screws and 3 plastic footings and some tiny nails. There's no guide holes on the back of the board. It's basically up to you to figure out how to mount the board. I didn't have any trouble but did have to draw some lines on the back to be sure the bracket was screwed in the right spot. Anyway, the price is right for a no frills bristle dartboard. I recommend it. Makes a great practice board for steel OR soft tip players.

Tournament Quality

I played in amateur dart tournaments for a few years across twelve bars each with their own team. This is the board we used. You can probably spend more. It won't help your game. ;)

Not Bad.

At $25.00, how could you not like the price. I normally use the more expensive staple-free bristle boards. This time I wanted to see how much worse the cheaper dart-board is compared to the ones I normally play on. The first thing I noticed, the smell. Whatever they spray the edges of the board with has a horrible chemical smell. Don't worry, it won't last longer than a day or so. The wires are quite pronounced or raised above the board. Not a fan of that. Definitely not a self healing board. The photos you are seeing are after a few hours of practice. After you pull the dart out you can clearly see the gaping hole. For mounting it, I used the newer plastic hardware instead of the old metal. Once you have your dart-board in place, the new mounting hardware makes switching out your boards much faster. UPDATE: After a few days of throwing on this dartboard I can say there are lots of bounce outs. I'm tempted to pull all the wires out. I've done it before, it's a pain. However, I did pull the few staples from the bulls-eye outer ring. The wires and staples on this board are very pronounced and in your face. Will I get another? Na, the next time I will pay the extra $20 for a staple free dartboard. Who knows, maybe I will figure out a way to remove the wires/staples without damaging the board.

Bullseye

This dartboard is much more legit when you open it up. It's heavy (or solid, rather), and easy to mount. The bristles are high quality (though I can't imagine what low quality bristles look like), and the spider (wire frame - I just learned that term and now I get to use it and I feel happy about being pretentious for the moment...btw, the triple ring is called the TREBLE!!!) is proportional to the board. This board has the wire style spider, which is supposedly good for bounce outs, whereas the blade style is supposed to prevent them, but I've had 2 or 3 bounce outs in 2 weeks, so whoever said that is a liar. Plus, before this board, I was relegated to darts at the local pub, Streets of London, which has the blade style, and I was CONSTANTLY bouncing out, but I have a lot more beer there than at home when playing darts... MY dartboard has ONE issue: a couple of the wires that meet the bullseye (those coming from 20, 1, 18) are popping out a bit at the bullseye. They're still in, and it doesn't bother me nor does it affect my amazing aim, but I'm not sure if this will be a problem later on or if it's consistent with other boards. Either way, I'm happy with the board.

Good basic board

I was prepared to dislike this board, but after using it for a while, I appreciate it for what it is. A good basic round wire dartboard. Has a removable number ring so the board can be rotated for longer life. On the downside, I found some issues with quality. It seemed to have been cosmetically damaged at some point, and wasn't in retail packaging. Mounting hardware was incomplete, but since I had my own, didn't really care. If this is your only board, and you're an avid player, I would upgrade to a blade sisal board. If this is a board for the cottage or occasional use, you can't go far wrong, particularly when on sale. Just make sure you have everything needed to mount the board.

Best board for the price.

For the price it's a great dart board. I have hosted hours of playing on this board with no issues. You have to put the mounting hardware on yourself. Not a really tight packed bristle but does hold heavy and lights darts well. Wires cause a few bounce outs but staple free bullseye is nice. This is not a competitive board but you can own 3-4 of these for the same price as a winmau blade 5. I would be happily but another.

El empaque llego dañado, al abrirlo me encontré con un tablero usado previamente, tenia algunas grietas que claramente habían sido pegadas con cola loka, aun olia a pegamento. Solicite un remplazo y en lugar de remplazo me hicieron la devolución de mi dinero y no me han mandado el remplazo que solicite. No tengo forma de revisar estatus de mi remplazo. Muy insatisfecho con esta compra! No se con quien dirigirme para una queja

Sólo para jugadores casuales

Aunque el tablero se siente de buena calidad, después de unas cuantas partidas se notan visiblemente los agujeros de los dardos y disminuye un poco el agarre de los mismos, esperaba un poco más de durabilidad comparado con mi anterior tablero que era aun más económico.
