Nice case but 2 issues
This is an extremely well build case: strong; tight fitting lid; rigid but reasonably light weight; and great locking latches. But I found 2 issues. First, the stated dimensions are the maximums. The height is 4.1" max, not 4.1001", but exactly 4.1" -- no slack. If you have an item that is 4.1" high but long or wide, it will not fit edge-to-edge. The case is slightly rounded in the back around the hinges and in the front with the latches. So the 4.1" is not uniform across the whole length or width, maybe dropping to 3.8" along the edges. If you have any hesitation about pushing up against the dimensions, save yourself some grief and order the next larger size. Secondly, the cubed foam is great: 1/2" squares, but it is not cut horizontally. That is, if the foam insert is 2" thick, and you want to make a pocket only 1"deep, you'll need to cut it yourself instead of just popping out the cubes - the cubes go the full 2" depth.

Very Solid Build Quality!
I bought this case to store my Sony Fx3 and its perfect. I've purchased multiple Nanuk cases in the past and this one is just as great as the others. The build quality is very strong and i've never had issues with items shaking around in the case thanks to the foams inserts. I've been using Nanuk for over 4 years now , and all my cases works just as new.

Quality product.
Good seal, rigid af, clips are exceptional. It safely stores $1000.00 in telescope eyepieces. Prefer 2 smaller more rigid cases vs 1 large pelican case for example. Impressed & totally satisfied. Not understanding the neg reviews. Will buy again if needed.

EXACTLY what I was looking for.
I wanted to protect some very sentimental and irreplaceable items when we moved. Tried a couple options before landing on the Nanuk, and none compared. This thing is sturdy and well-built. Fit my needs perfectly and I plan to buy more for future moves and specialty electronics

Great case for Sony FDR-AX100
I absolutely love this case. I have owned it for about 2 hours now. I bought it to story my Sony FDR-AX100 camcorder in it. I have 9 kids, ages 20 to 4-year-old. I live in a very small house (because I live in a company-owned mining town, and we rent our house from my husband's company. All the houses here are small.) We have very little storage, and I was worried about buying a nice camcorder, then having kids step on it and break it. So, instead of spending $30 on a padded bag-style-case, I bought this case. I LOVE how sturdy it is. I LOVE the latching system. This case is absolutely worth every penny to protect my investment. I bought my camera to make YouTube videos, as well as family videos. I wanted to be able to take my camcorder on vacation, if I wanted to. I could just see me tucking my camera in it's bag-style-case under one of the bench seats in my Chevy Express 15 passenger van, then having it slide out while driving, and having a kid step on it. I just HAD to get a hard case because I know that my camcorder will get trampled by kids, otherwise. The latches will NOT accidentally pop open. There is a spring-loaded sliding latch combined with the other latch. There is NO way the case will accidentally pop open, and I think there is no way a small baby or toddler will be able to figure out how to open the latches, either. I highly recommend this case.

Amazing case, amazing build quality
10/10 case, I bought this case specifically to fit my Xbox Series S and cables for my travelling luggage as I travel a lot and like to take a console for the hotels. Perfectly fits an XBOX series S and relevant cables, does not fit the controller as well unfortunately. A Overall the build quality of the case is amazing, I would buy this case or other cases from Nanuk again without any deliberation.

Well made but incorrect sizing
Delivered quickly and very sturdy construction. After another reviewers comments I measured the external dimensions of my laptop and checked against the listed internal dimesnios of the case. Should have had 3-5mm all around instead the laptopn wouldn't fit at all - Returned for a refund. Worth noting that this case is very deep which makes it versatile but adds unecessary bulk if being used for a laptop.
