Fits Stanley 5 gallon wet/dry vac

I have the Stanley Wet/Dry Vacuum SL18115, 5 Gallon 4HP Shop Vacuum, and the black foam filter ripped when trying to take it off when wet and dirty. Got this one on one-day Prime delivery. It fits perfectly. Just slide it carefully on, and then slide on the black plastic ring that holds it on. I like to also put over it a Women's Plus Size Knee High nylon stocking, which is so cheap that I can throw it away after each use. Mostly I pick up wet debris. For dust and dry things I use the paper vacuum bags. So, yes, this is the foam filter that fits, and that works, and it comes quickly. Just what I needed.

Had no issues putting this on my old vac. Fit the same way as my old one I replaced. Good to change these every now and then.

Good Filters, But Shorted 1 Filter.

This foam vacuum filter works great. It fit my 20+ year old,1 HP/1 Gal. Shop Vac (model 500x) perfectly. These filters are supposed to be for liquid pickup, but I use them, along with the blue paper filters, for extra filtering. This works great for picking up fine dust like sawdust and sheetrock, without blowing it all back out the exhaust vent. The filters are also easily washable. I would have given this filter 5 stars, but I was shorted 1 filter in my order, so I dropped 1 star. The listing specifically states that this is a "2 pack." From reading the reviews, I can see that a lot of other purchasers of this item were also shorted 1 filter. You would think that Amazon would fix the quantity in this listing, after reading most of the reviewers stating that they were shorted a filter. However, I can still recommend the filter, based on performance alone.

Do yourself a favor. You can buy this online at Lowes or Home Depot. The information listed in either case is MORE accurate, MORE detailed, and MORE Specific. I purchased for a ShopVac. Even though they don't sell replacement parts [?????] it's easier to confirm that this item [which does NOT have size or dimensions on the package, btw] will fit, and meet your needs. HD has it in stock, at the same price - even with curbside pick up [lockdown still here], it was faster and easier.... This listing seems to have modified information from the three sites, not all is accurate [EG widthxheight is reversed on listing]. Will be returning this for a refund.

Good price, seems well made.

Looks pretty good, fit snug and underneath the dry filter, thinner but denser than my other wet filter. Pic one is just package for reference, pic 2 is of seam while on vacuum. Pic 3 shows the dry filter fitting over top. Looks good, haven't used it yet though.

Bought this Filter sleeve because I lost mine for a 30L Shop Vac I use to clean up water spills and it fits my Vacuum perfectly. It was easy to install and remove after using the Wet Vac. I simply wash it after removing and letting it air dry in the laundry room ready to be used again.

This thing sucks!

Well, actually, it allows my little 1.5 gallon Shop-Vac to suck. I needed to replace the foam filter and this one fits just as it should. Dust Bunnies Beware!

Wet Vac Filter

It does not have a bottom to it but I presume it will work, It is only used to prevent big pieces from entering the motor. Have not used it yet
