Wrestler’s Review

The media could not be loaded. These sleeves have become an almost essential piece of equipment for my son who just completed his senior year of high school wrestling. In fact, they may have very well been a factor in saving his season. Without getting into too much detail, his need for the sleeves began when he began to suffer from tendinitis towards the post season of his senior year in high school. Knowing that he was determined to continue wrestling, we researched quite a few brand recommendations and ultimately decided on the McDavid 6500 shooters. Which he has definitely been more than satisfied with. The sleeves are tight enough to allow for the necessary compression and they hold in place. However, at the same time, they also afford enough flexibility for him to move his arms freely, as is obviously critical to his success. Not to mention, we have had no issues from officials, as they are completely legal and look like they are simply part of his regular gear.

Great for volleyball

My middle schooler loves these sleeves for volleyball. She had a tweaked elbow a year ago and this helps keep everything in line as well.

Fit well

I got these for my son who started playing football. I originally went to a local big name sporting goods store to get them but they wanted $27 for a single sleeve. So I decided to check amazon and to my pleasant surprise I found the exact same brand for almost half the price. My son says they fit well and feel comfortable. My only complaint would be that these are sold as individual sleeves. Not in a pair. So be aware of that when purchasing. You'll need to buy 2. But overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Good product

My daughter wanted these for volleyball. She is 5"5 110pds.She has very long slim arms. We ordered small. They fit but just a tiny bit loose. We did not order xs for fear they would be to tight but they may have been just right! Hard to know when reviews don't post hight and wights of purchaser's. All in all light weight good product.

Great for volleyball

My daughter plays high intensity club volleyball and when she is playing DS she really lays out on the court sometimes and her elbows were getting chewed up pretty bad. She refused to wear the bigger bulky ones because they didn't look cool and were too bulky. These look nice, don't roll down, catch sweat, and the honeycomb pad gives a lot of protection. I would highly recommend these.

Fell apart

Only worn 2X’s and the stitching inside completely fell apart. Tried calling customer service about it and they were zero help and said to go to the website and send an email after I waited on hold for 10 minutes to get through.

very good sleeve went with a small and was worried it ...

very good sleeve went with a small and was worried it would be to small, however it was a perfect fit for the length of my arm and was not to tight which was my second worry i had. used it in multiple training sessions and games, highly recommend for those with elbow issues like myself as it makes me feel more confident and less worried about damaging my elbow in contact or diving for loose balls.

would recommend

Ordered for casual basketball use after I broke my elbow and needed some support. The padding on the elbow helps protect it from hits and makes me feel more comfortable taking contact. The compression is also good, sleeve fits snugly and comfortably. Used approx 10x so far and no signs of wear on it. Would recommend.

Best thing on the market

This is the best product of this type that I found. It offers great elbow protection. I'm using it for an old elbow injury where any slightest impact is very painful, and it works very well. It's relatively comfortable to wear. I have very sensitive skin and always feel a little uncomfortable for about 5 minutes after putting it on, but then I completely forget about it and can leave it on for the whole day. The seam at the front of the arm leaves a little mark on the skin, but it disappears almost immediately after taking it off. I like the fact that this item is machine-washable and tumble dryer-friendly. It is also the least bulky item I could find. Could it be better? Perhaps (seam-free would be nice), but there isn't anything better currently on the market.
