Paying the Amazon convenience fee

I used this as part of a craft project, not for anything home improvement related. It arrived as expected. I give this four stars because you could buy this at any hardware store for about 1.50. If it is worth it for you to pay the extra couple bucks not to set foot in a hardware store, go for it.

It works, nothing special or sexy about it.

I love that Amazon sells hardware store supplies like this. This foam arrived in a box that cost more to produce and ship than my single ordered insulation piece, most likely the delivered cost of the item is maybe on order of magnitude greater than the product itself. The utility of Amazon Prime is perfect for an item like this and clearly this review is more about Amazon, than the item purchased.

Know what you're getting before buying.

Does what I bought it for, which is to shove between couch cushions to keep a sofa cover in place. It's much thinner than I expected, and warps easily. Probably should have just bought a pool noodle but this seemed a better fit. Live and learn.
