Good clamps and quality

Needed these to reattach my dryer vent going to the outside. My previous clamp was plastic and broke. Theses clamps are good quality and best of all I just had to order on Amazon and they are at my door in two days

Just one of those things you can not think of at the store...

How many times has this one been on your to do list and how long does it take before you actually get to Home Depot which I drive by every week and run in to get that one item. Well forget Home Depot and get your clamps and all accessories here. Price was good and it does the job as it claims. Fast delivery too. Have nothing but good things to say about this item.

Does the job

For me the most important thing about these clamps was the ease with which they were installed. Clamps are clamps but, as a 72 year old man, ease of installation is important. (The standard (as opposed to phillips) screwhead was the major contributor to the ease of installation but the rational tightening process (as oppossed to some of the older compression clamps) was also important.

Screwed clamps eased the job, without pinched fingers.

I liked it. It replaced the spring clamps, that were hard to open, and never stayed attached. This made the vent hose much more solid.

Better than pictured

The ones I received were better than the ones pictured. They are the ratcheting type, where the band has slots in it that the screw head grips into when fastened. The band is also wider and holds well.
