Worth it

I purchased these to remove the retaining rings on some barbells and pulleys I am using in my home gym. You can certainly find cheaper circlip pliers out there, but these ooze quality. Tolerances are tight, the tips grip extremely well, and I'm not worried about the tips breaking due to inferior metals and cast construction that cheaper pliers have. I don't mind paying a bit extra for something that will probably outlast me.

You really can’t go wrong with knipex. 48 11 J0 fit into cylinder of mountain bike hydraulic brakes

Great quality tool and yes, works for SRAM Guide R clip removal

The internal clip that holds the caliper in place actually measures 14mm, but even though these pliers say they are for up to 13mm, they do the job perfectly. I am not sure if the next size up (48 11 J1) would fit. Also, the tool is of great quality. Make me wish I had to remove a lot more retaining rings.

Love knipex brand

Knipex is my my go to plier brand but they are my go to snap ring brand. I build turbos for a living and have there smallest all the way up to their largest pairs of pliers. The precision line is always worth the added cost in my opinion would buy again.
