Rusted very disappointing

Update: added a little olive oil to the scissors where they are bolted and it completely resolved the issue! They are working great at this point These rusted and are barley opening and closing after 3 weeks!! Unable to use at this point. I threw the box away so I cannot return. I did put them in the dishwasher maybe 4 times since there are absolutely no care instructions anywhere to be found. Unacceptable back to kitchen aid for me!

USED TO BE GREAT SCISSORS???

I’ve used the scissors for a couple years. I purchased 8-10 pair a year for my business. They cut things that no other scissors can cut. They cut as flush as any scissors can possibly cut. This is the first time I’ve purchased these scissors on Amazon and they broke the very first day. Are they being made in China now instead of Japan? I still have some old pair that have been around for years. These broke right away. I really hope this was a fluke but I see others on Amazon have had the same quality issue recently. Joyce Chan please go back to your original mfg. For the people who know how good these work, they will pay more for the quality. I may try purchasing again from Max Warehouse, that’s who I used to purchase from and scissor quality was awesome. Hope to hear back with an answer to why the quality has gone downhill. Thanks!

Great, precise scissors

We keep several of these super sleek, ultralightweight scissors in our home. Kitchen, bath/beauty, and general. There is nothing like their impeccable sharpness and precision cutting combined with their unique, perfectly comfortable, flexible handles. I have had my original scissors now for probably close to 30 years. We have them with different color handles, so we always know where each one belongs. Perfect for EVERYTHING

These are great for trimming meat, veggies, cutting baby's and Grandpa's food, pruning plants, but most importantly cutting crab and lobster shells. I bought 5 pair for when i serve king crab legs. These make it so easy to cut the shell and get into that scrumptious meat. Much easier than smashing or using pliers. I think seafood restaurants should provide these To their guests.

We use these in our metals studio to cut metal. They are by far our favorite and work the best. They even are great for cutting open king crab legs too!

As a metalsmith, I use these for cutting through copper or silver sheet instead of using a saw. In certain applications these work great for that and cuts through annealed metal like butter.

A cut above

Very lightweight and cutting is superb. I'm using them for jewellery making but might just have to another pair for household use. They are fabulous (if scissors can be fabulous!)

The one and only

Best scissors I’ve ever used. I use it for culinary work and holds up very well, cuts through lobster shells like butter and great for all intents and purposes. You might think its small but its capable of many things! Lasts a lifetime (had mine for 2 years) and honestly I would buy few more to have it in my home and work.
