Better than expected

This is better quality than I expected for the price. I have a couple of naughty horses who would run into the two gates across the front of the barn and knock them off their hinges thus getting in/out when they're not supposed to. This solved the problem. It was a little tricky getting the handle on the end of the spring- it does not come preattached but after that it was a breeze to install. Spring stretches nicely and returns to shape when let down. Will be buying more.

Very well-made

These spring gates are very nice and very sturdy. Much nicer than the ones that are sold at Tractor Supply. I bought one from there then ordered two from Amazon and like the ones from Amazon 10 times better. They have a nice big hook as well as the ends are much bigger and the grip will not slip out of your hand as it did with the one from Tractor Supply.

These work better than just handles but not by much

Work as intended but if they snap back into place because you miss the latch they can loose their shape the first time it happens.... Also they can stretch with moderate ease so they will not return to their original configuration. Of they were cheaper they would be a better value. If you have horses that do not test the fence than they will work great minus user error.

Good economy product

It shows that it is cheap but it is fully functioning. For the price it blows everything else I've ever seen out of the water. The description is correct that it can function for gaps longer than 16 ft.

Love these. Used on 12’ gate opening. Simple, effective and easy to use. And will shock your ass. Lol.
