Hang on a wall-tap and remove to walk about when lights are out

I hung these lights near entry ways incase I have to enter a dark part of the house. During blackouts, I removed one temporarily to use as a flashlight until I turn on the lights or light candles if there is a blackout. I have actually used this light for several years when we were staying in country house where blackouts were frequent. Another convenient place to hang this light is next to a bed so you can tap it for light to get up and remove and carry it for light if a blackout happens while you are sleeping. Although these lights are not for outdoors, if you have a garage attached to your home, it is convenient to hang one of these lights in the garage next to the entry door to your home.

Perfect for power outage

I have a few of these. One next to Dad's bed to step on (lightly) when he gets up at night. One next to my bed to tap at night to see what the cats are up to. Better than a flashlight. Wonderful to light up room when power is out. Extra light in closet. Love!!

Easy to use and useful.

I have used this type of push light for many years for camping and power outages. And was glad to find that they are still available as I show my family how to navigate a power outage. It provides soft light so is not blinding and is easy to find and turn on when in the dark. I think of it as a low-powered flashlight that is easy to click on with one hand allowing me to then find my way around a familiar space or get my hands on a much brighter light. Young children can easily find it and turn it on. It is not bright enough for task lighting in my opinion, nor do I expect it to remain on for hours at a time. Keep one on the bedside table or sitting next to you to quickly push on if power outages are imminent or you are camping. Keep one on the floor to tap on with your foot.

Not bright at all.....

These are not Motion censored, you have to press on it to turn off /on. The light is very soft, which I like, but light is also very weak. Enough to light a pathway or stairwell, not enough to really see anything.

Effective

They work well, and are easy to put up with the adhesive Velcro pieces that are included. They feel a little flimsy when you press down on them, but for the price…

Works like I remember

Easy to install, I used the command Velcro strips much easier and less damage than the provided stuff, they give off enough light for when the electric goes out during storms (which is why I bought them), use to have some of these back in the 90's and these work just as well as those did only these are much brighter.

Great for around the house with new baby

I placed these all around the house to use instead of our ceiling lights when we woke up in the middle of the night for baby diaper changes and feedings. Have one in the bedrooms, kitchen, and even the bathroom. Love them.

Bought the four pack for using in the attic space. 3/4 work. The lighting is very dim so really needed all four to see.
