Going on season 2.

Bought this after my replacement ignitor failed after about two years. The furnace would try to light, but never would. It would just keep cycling. This replacement was the exact specs for my American Standard Hi-Efficiency furnace with the exception that the connector was not the same style. This was no problem for me however. As with my first replacement, I was able to cut off the connector plug on the new ignitor and cut off the connector of the old ignitor and used a pair of ceramic wire nuts to attach the new ignitor to the old plug and then connect it to the furnace. This allowed me to replace the ignitor without damaging the furnace wires. Should you need to do the same, be sure that you use ceramic wire nuts as the ignitor will be near the flames and has the potential for staying rather hot. You don't want to have melted wire nuts. But, the best solution would be to make sure that you buy the ignitor with the required rating and plug style as your existing furnace. That will save you some extra work. Had this replacement going for over two seasons now without any issues. I would definitely buy this product again should I need a new ignitor.
