Can solve some shared neutral problems

My dishwasher and garbage disposer are each on a different hot 20 amp circuit but share a neutral. So, I could put a gfci outlet to replace each of the existing outlets, and that would protect each outlet. But, both outlets are under the sink and behind the tangle of pipes and drains, and I'm an old man. A gfci breaker for each circuit would require a neutral to be shared and that's not going to work. So I used this guy; the 20 Amp, 2 Pole Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter breaker. Two hots and one neutral. Took me 10 minutes to install it, works perfectly. It's huge, but fit okay in my 40 year-old panel. It's the only way I could protect the circuits from the panel. Expensive but well worth it. The breaker brand must match what's in your panel already. For me, I had old ITE stuff that is replaced by Siemens brand. Good luck.

Replaced THQL2120 Works Great

Couldn't find anywhere local that had the GE breaker on hand. Turns out global shortage blah blah blah.. A little bit of research and luck and it's in and trouble free for 1/5 of the price of the GE breaker.

BEST brand for Pool equipment

This is by far the best breaker I've found for use with swimming pool & spa equipment. Especially with the variable speed motors used for the pool pumps. I've come to find out (the hard way of course) other brands of GFCI breakers usually provide a problem with nuisance tripping. I won't mention names like the Eaton BR type...

Eliminates random trips of pool equipment

This Siemens GFCI took care of the problem with my pool pump. The old GFCI tripped randomly about once a week for no reason at all, causing the pool pump to stop as well as the timer for the Salt Water Chlorine Generator - very annoying! I did some research and found this one. Some reviews specifically commented on this particular problem. Since I installed this GFCI 5 months ago it did not trip ONCE! I couldn't be happier with it and would recommend it to anyone who has a problem with random trips. One word of advice: This GFCI is about 1 inch longer than the old one. I just fit in the box with no room to spare (see photos).

Clearance issue in GE box

Had to remove 3 screws from neutral bar to get the clearance needed to install breaker in my GE circuit panel. Not an issue for me because I had plenty of extra room in the panel. Bought used and got a huge discount so very happy.
