A Sour Transaction Due to Unacceptable Photo and Bad Product Description - Product Unacceptable

The photo for this product is very misleading. I would never have purchased this if a clear photo and description was included. I was expecting to receive 10 each convex ended valve seats. Instead I received 10 each concave ended valve seats. My past experience with these concave ones was unsatisfactory--they allow the water to leak. Only the convex style I fully expected to receive (based on the misleading fuzzy photo) has been known to work. Please be aware that this item does not have a rounded out end. Instead it has a rounded inward end. If these work for your application this is great. Nowhere on the web can I find a clear picture of the end of this "Danco 80703" that contacts the ball. This is one case where I was completely stung because Amazon failed to provide an accurate and clear photo of the product. It is a blurry and misleading photo. I already have some of these useless concave-ended ones on hand. The last thing I needed was another 10 of these useless valve seats. These were for future use. I certainly did not need then shipped priority. I needed the right valve seats shipped with ends that match the Amazon photo. Amazon must provide clear and accurate photos or customers like me cannot purchase items with poor descriptions that don't match the item or the customer needs. Most of the cost of this item was for unnecessary "Priority" shipping. I needed the correct product -- not expensive shipping of the wrong product.

I just got tired of trying to fix it, I threw it all away and replaced the faucet with a Delta brand..

Perfect for my old 1960s delta shower faucet! Exactly what I needed. I wound up also replacing a lot of the tooling since it was getting corroded. Hooray amazon!

Good kit, but springs may be slightly too long

These did fit my delta faucet (installed in 1967) in the shower, but after struggling to install them, I realized that the springs are probably a little too long (which generated too much force trying to push the seats out of position and then making it hard to stop the cam assembly from getting out of position while installing the nut). After I cut the springs length by about 20%, the installation became much easier and the leaks went away.
