Good product

World's greatest moisturizer, especially if you deal with KP or eczema!

I've used Curel Itch Defense for many years, at least 8 at this point. It's heavily moisturizing without feeling heavy at all and completed scent free. I struggle with keratosis pilaris and have used a wide variety of body lotions to help control it, and what I've noticed is that every time I stray from this, no matter how heavy or highly recommended the product is for KP, I end up with a reoccurrence of the issue within a week. Curel has been a consistent performer along with exfoliating using a hard towel or salux cloth in the shower daily. All three of my littles have or have had childhood eczema and I didn't hesitate to use Curel for them during breakouts. It doesn't sting their sensitive skin and helps control and abate the flares so I don't have to heavily use their prescribed corticosteroid cream. This product is so effective and inoffensive in how it feels, wears and smells that my husband also uses and loves it. He's not a guy who is too into cosmetic applications, and suffers from dry skin so it's a major win that he will use this to help prevent irritation and itching, especially on the hands and feet.

Unscented. Non greasy. Winters are normally horrible for me with the itchy skin! Long as I have this lotion, I am good!

My new favourite cream

So I suffer from crazy dry skin with occasional outbreaks of chronic atopic eczema so using moisturiser top to toe is standard for me. I alternate between Cetraben and Aveeno but the morning after my skin is back to it's good old dry self. I was recommended this cream by a friend and thrilled to find it was being sold in the UK and also on Amazon. Well...this cream is my new favourite....12 hours later my skin still feels nourished and I'm reapplying in the morning because I know I should, not because I feel my skin actually needs it. It should be stressed that this isn't a cure for eczema but it's certainly got top marks from me as an eczema sufferer! I've just started using the Intensive Moisture Face Cream and that's also fantastic! So yes, these products aren't as cheap as Aveenor or Cetraben but from my perspective, they're certainly doing a better job!

AVOID if you have Eczema

I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with this product. I ordered this after reading all the great reviews saying how it really helped people’s eczema. I applied it to my legs and hands which were dry from eczema and within a couple of hours my legs and hands were itching like crazy! It’s that horrible type of cream that rolls into little balls if you touch your skin. Bearing in mind this is marketed as an itch relief cream I really think Curel need to take another look at this product as my skin was pretty calm before I applied this rubbish and afterwards I tore my legs and hands to shreds and the only thing that would calm it was showering to get it off me! After showering my skin returned to normal and I went back to my trusted Cetraben.

Miracle cream, especially for cradle cap!

I bought this for my ten week old baby who has been suffering from dry itchy skin on his face which has been keeping him awake at night and cradle cap. I had been advised by a pharmacist to use Sunflower oil on his scalp for the cradle cap which had helped to an extent but after a few hours the scales and dryness returned. I also tried cradle cap shampoo but it was very drying and made it worse. The texture of the cream initially feels thick and heavy but it absorbs very well and even when applying onto hair it wasn't left looking or feeling oily. It has worked an absolute treat and after applying it only once and my son's skin looks brand new. It has been 24 hours since I first applied it and no dryness, itchyness or scales have returned! I can't recommend it enough!

Brilliant for my daughter's atopic skin

My daughter has eczema, after suffering for months trying all the creams prescribed by the GP, a friend of mine recommend Curel Itchy Defence. My daughter's skin is absolutely gorgeous now, never had any eczema patches ever since. I have bottles of this moisturiser in every room of the house. It's amazing. Can't recommend it enough. I wish I could give a 100 stars review.

Great moisturiser for eczema sufferer

My partner suffers with sensitive skin and eczema and has been struggling with a moisturiser that makes any real difference. We've literally bought dozens of different types and have never been satisfied with the outcome. However using this has now started to make a difference. This has been in use for quite sometime now and had really made a difference to her. Very pleased with this and a little goes a long way. Will be purchasing this again once it's run out.
