Got for my 12yr old. She kept flinching after she hit her arm so I found this and it definitely helped her relax and shoot better

Not for skinny kids

I would have given this 5 stars but it doesn't fit my 9 year olds arm. One side is slightly wider than the other, I'm assuming for a bicep but it just slides down my daughters arm. She loved the color and will occasionally wear it over a long sleeve shirt to shoot her bow but that wasn't my intended purpose for it. Hopefully she'll grow into it in a few years!

Comfortable and functional

I got this because I shoot my bow every single day. My elbows hyper extend and although I take care to relax my front shoulder, when i take lots of reps sometimes little things slide. This is perfect its long, covers my WHOLE forearm ( its actually a little longer than my forearm, I wear a size XS at 6 feet tall) and it was lightweight enough to not make me sweat when we hiked for an archery challenge for 6 hours. Fits well under clothing too, so you dont have to decide between long sleeves or this. Great investment.

Fits my forearm really well, I ordered a small and would consider myself of small stature. Very lightweight but protects my arm well.

Worthless

Keep looking for one that's better made ! Spend the extra money get one that's not made like this one. FYI kids on the school archery team CANNOT use these plus they WILL NOT protect your arm it's WORTHLESS

Well made

Not quite as pictured. The black protection strip is not seen, the item is all one colour, but probably looks better for it. The protection strip is not very stiff and therefore more comfortable although it may not resist string slap as much as other models
