Great Beginner Kit
I thought this was a great beginner's kit. You'll need to purchase your own canvas and a bottle of mineral spirits to clean the brush. I used two episodes to learn how to make this picture: Grey Mountain from Season 24, Episode 1 (matches the colors), and The Grandeur of Summer (one-hour special, goes at a slower pace). While those two shows weren't a direct match for the kit, they were close enough where I felt like I was really understanding the technique. I used paper bags to cover my work surface, lots of towels, and was able to clean up what got on my skin with soap and water. I did not realize it was going to take weeks for this painting to dry, however, so make sure you have somewhere you can stash your new work of art.

Nice paint set
The set comes with everything listed. There are instructions on how to make the painting. I think a video would have been a nice addition; after all Bob Ross is most known for his show. Makes a good gift for someone into painting.

Great for the Bob Ross Fan
Great set for the Bob Ross fanatic. Tubes are small but includes most of his signature favorite colors. I would recommend!

Great for a gift as long as nothing is damaged like other reviews.
Daughter (9y/o) and husband (32y/o) are learning to oil paint together and love Bob Ross videos. Nice beginers set, should have included midnight black but maybe they didnt need it for this painting? Turned out nice for their first try!

Not what they used to be
Since Bob passed, and they kicked out Steve, the quality of BRI products has degraded. The finish on all the tools are cracked. The paints I got were too oily, Bob said they should be dry. Even if they have a new manufacturer now why should I buy BRI after what they did to Bob;s family?
