average pieces, great color

The color I purchased is the pinkish color w/black print. I give the color a 5 stars. Doesn't show scuffs & is instantly recognizable when it comes down the conveyor belt. Also not so bright as to be obnoxious, with just a touch of silver shimmer to it. Mine don't roll that well. My previous Bass one could be pushed & pulled all directions, only becoming a bit difficult if it was near that 50 lb mark. This one's not rolling all that well when empty or full & tips over when full, as it's unbalanced. After a few trips, there is some weird bulging at the bottom near the zippered area, like a hernia. It's obviously been damaged on a flight, both the largest & the medium upright. One of the pieces came with a cut/damage/flaw in the fabric, but it's a piece I won't be using much, so I didn't return it (plus the hassle). Not sure how long the wheels will last. Not 100% sure some of the pieces of luggage I've seen for more would last a whole lot better though. Is it possible NOT to pay the earth for something that is usable & lasts for more than a few trips? Let me know if you find something. Also I'm done w/black luggage. Have to check the tags on all of them as they pass on the conveyor belt because 90% of them are black-- boring! So to sum up, I guess I'll be keeping this set til it falls apart, which I don't expect to be too many more trips in the future. I had both of my previous pieces for quite awhile before being bent beyond what I wanted to try & bend back after a rough flight.

Very happy with this luggage set

I purchased this set for myself and my husband to use on our cruise. Very affordable for the number of pieces you get, and it held up well in use. Loved that almost all of the pieces have wheels. It was very easy to maneuver through the cruise terminal getting on and off the ship with these pieces. The sizes were very functional for us, larger suitcase for me, medium size for my husband, and a carry on duffel type bag for each of us. We left the small suitcase at home. The suitcases have the additional zipper to allow a small amount of expansion in the suitcase. There were outside pockets on the suitcase, and the usual inner pockets to help contain smaller items. The handles worked well to wheel the suitcases wherever we needed to go, and were easy to slide in and out as needed. The wheels swiveled easily, I believe they turned to allow for better movement. Once in our room, or for storage at home, the bags all nestle into each other to have just the larger one to store. This was very convenient. Finally, I really like the print on these bags. They lean a little on the girly side, but not so much that my husband had any issues in using them. We definitely found it easy to identify our bags, as we didn't see any others with this print. Highly recommend.

Beautiful and survived!

Was a bit nervous with this purchase as I saw reviews for the same brand/make that were horrible. Took a chance because I loved the print and some how this particular one did not have a negative review. Was shipped fast and arrived in perfect condition. If you're an international buyer who has to face customs chargers beware, it comes in a very large and heavy box that is placed inside an even bigger box. So as others said, when opened there was a scent, not foul but definitely powerful. I aired it out for a couple days and with some Febreeze it was fine. My initial thought LOVE the print! I wanted something that will stand out so I can easily spot it on the carousel and this was perfect. Loved that it came with it's own tags attached to each bag, only wished the space to write was larger. The bags can stack into each other so that's easy storage. I used them on an international flight and they survived. There were some loose threads, but that was upon opening it; it remained intact. The suitcases are very light which is a plus as every lb counts. The only downside is I wish it came with and even smaller spinner instead of 2 duffle bags but otherwise I love this set. The duffle bags are perfect weekender bags.

Not a sturdy set - gentle handling only

We just used this set for the first time while flying. We flew from Vegas, through San Francisco, and into Oregon. We checked the large roller bag and the rolling duffel, while carrying the shoulder bag on the plane. The large roller was full without using the expansion, but was difficult to roll on all four wheels as an upright. It seemed to go wherever it wanted, and not always where we were trying to push it. The rolling duffel was full, but not heavy, and was pretty easy to manage for our 5 year old. The shoulder bag worked nicely as a carry-on. Upon arriving at the hotel in Oregon, we noticed that the black stitching on the front of the large roller appeared to be worn off. Several corners of the large bag also had tears through the protective plastic/rubber coating and the metal frame was exposed. The duffel didn't have any noticeable issues. After returning home to Vegas, I was happy to see that all the wheels were still attached as they seem to protrude quite a bit and I was worried they could be broken off. With further inspection, we noticed that one of the rollers on the front has separated from the base of the bag in one spot. I doubt this set would hold up to another flight. If you are handling your own luggage thoughout the trip, it would probably be fine, but it doesn't seem sturdy enough for airport handlers. If you are looking for something sturdy or for a frequent flyer who regularly checks bags, I would not suggest this set. On the plus side, it is cute, we got lots of compliments, and it was easy to spot at baggage claim.
