Beautifully Finished..Fits Easily..Sturdy

I'm in a wheelchair. I had a floor vent that was not well made so when my chair rolled over it, several cross bars broke. I saw this one and thought it looked well make and sturdy. I was right. It fit my floor vent perfectly and was very easy to install. It looks stylish and seems to take the pressure of my wheelchair without a problem. If anything changes, I'll come back and edit this review. For now I say, this is a strong, well made vent that looks great.

Good overall

The open/close system is very smooth which is why I bought this model. Very easy to use. The polished brass color is VERY shiny. Basically a polished, gold-like luster. A little too showy for what I was hoping for. The darker oiled bronze color is very nice, though I am not sure if it will show scratches easily with time in case the underlying material has a shine to it. I tried testing this on the underside by scratching it and it didn't seem too bad. I would get a batch amount of them except the price just went up 50% from when I bought them so I'm just going to hold out in case they go lower again or I find something similar at a lower price point.

The bottom is plastic

The bottom piece is plastic and it can melt if your heater is too strong. The top is metal tho.

The face plate is surprisingly good.

The decorative face plate is surprisingly good: it is very thick and strong, and the finish looks premium. Could not be better really. The little flow control hides perfectly in the design. The insides are the cheapest black plastic you can imagine, and when fully closed it still lets plenty of air through, with a considerable noise. Still, overall I'm very happy with the product (in use for a couple of months now).

Classy new detailing for my old house

I recently replaced all the floor registers originally provided by my heating engineer. I bought 10 of these Accord floor registers and am impressed by their design choices, their sturdiness and range of colours. I believe that details matter, and I’m happy to say that these floor registers add a bit of panache to a hitherto dull bit of kit. Love them!

Plastic vent inside arrived broken, but It was too big for my vent anyway. Will keep for another project.
