The media could not be loaded. I just put up my new bluebird house 4 days ago and I already have a pair of bluebirds bringing nesting material!!! UPDATE Fast forward a few weeks and we now have a nesting pair,. I think she is laying eggs because he has started feeding her this morning and someoftheur behaviors!!!

One Year Later...Still Good, Buying More
Another brand with a flat, wood (no metal) roof of similar design, LITERALLY fell apart in less than a year (water warped all sides, pulling out the fasteners along with them) - THESE DID NOT! Lesson learned. Buying these again - to replace the other brands that failed.

Awesome bluebird house
Within a couple of weeks of having this birdhouse there was a nest inside. Mother Bluebird layed the six eggs, all hatched. My family enjoyed watching the mother and father bluebird share and laying on the nest and feeding the baby birds. A wonderful experience and we’re hoping for another nest in the spring.

Solid made birdhouse
This is a well made birdhouse. Love that it has a door to open so you can clean it out after the birds leave. I also like the tin roof, the squirrels have a hard time holding on to it.

Great Bird House!
This is a great bird house. It is built very well, and the Cedar Wood, along with the metal roof, should make it last a long time. I added a 3/8" dowel under the entrance hole for the birds to perch on. I also added some 1 1/2" finishing nails on all walls (except the opening panel), in addition to the brads that the bird house is constructed with. This will help reinforce the construction, and make the bird house last longer. I mounted the bird house on top of an 8' 4 × 4 post buried in 18" of concrete. The elevated base of the birdhouse fits perfectly around a 4" post, since the true measurement of the post is actually 3 1/2". I used a rasp to round off the corners of the post, so they do not block the lower air vents. I predrilled the floor of the bird house, and the top of the post. I then attached the bird house to the post using 3 2" x 3/16" wood screws. The bird house looks great, and it should survive a hurricane now. If you are looking for a well constructed bird house, that looks great and will last many years, I highly recommend this bird house.

I specifically wanted a bird house made in the USA, not China. In the item specs it was stated as "Country of Origin :USA> The info tag on the bird house says made in China!
