Easy to use

This works well, but I still can't fit my 26oz water bottle into my side load cage on the seat tube mounts. Oh well, just one of the joys of being short.

Almost perfect.

I used this to lower the lock mount on my cruiser bicycle low enough to get the lock in and out of the holder. It could stand to be half an inch longer. The screws are also comically short. I ended up using the stock bike screws to mount to the frame since they were twice the length.

Works for mounting water bottle on Trek Marlin seat tube.

Works for mounting a standard Trek water bottle on a Trek Marlin Seat tube, provided you can pull the bottle out from the front / side.

Adds needed clearance for big bottles.

Just what I needed to provide the clearance needed to carry two 32oz Nalgene bottles on my bike. Before finding and mounting this piece, the bottles would touch each other and not allow the one on the downtube to slide fully into the cage. Now they both fit fully into the cages and clear each other nicely. The bracket was easy to install with the included screws, fit well, and seems nice and sturdy. I use 50 Strong waterbottle cages with the top tab cut off to accommodate the larger Nalgene bottles, and they hold the bottles very well. Plenty secure for all but rough off roading, but you can easily add a strap if you'd like. Now I can carry two full liters of water with me and no "plastic tea" flavor common to regular sports bottles. And if the bracket ever breaks, I have a spare!

Necessary for small frames

The Topeak cage adjuster offers fixed length alternative positions for bottle cages, which is invaluable for small frames. It comes in a pair at an affordable price which is superb. Topeak generally makes quality product so I have no doubt they withstand test of time. Easily could have been 5 stars but fixed length (32mm) shift up or down may not work for everyone. Variable length would have been much better. Then I think the adjuster adds too much height. They definitely could be much slimmer profile. The height might be even more pronounced if your cages already add height.

Overbuilt, not lightweight, works as intended.

I like how durable this product is although it also lends itself to being a little clunky and not the nicest thing to look at. Necessary for me on a smaller frame though so I can fit bigger bottles in the triangle for long rides. Make sure you measure how this will fit into your frame bc you might end up having the cage so low that the bottle of your bottle runs into the downtube or other bottle depending on location.

Excellent for getting your cage mounts to work

I got an Abus folding lock for my bike but was disappointed to find I couldn't mount the case to my frame. Well, I could, except the bottom of the case wouldn't let the front derailleur onto the smallest cog. With this, the case clears the derailleur perfectly. I might suggest making it a bit longer and drilling four frame mount holes, to give people two mounting options instead of one.

Solid, lightweight and look really tidy

These are awesome. Due to the shape of my carbon frame the screw holes are far too low down to be able to mount 2 bottle holders together and there was no way I could attach a frame pump. These fix on firmly, don't flex or wobble at all. I can now mount a bottle, tool keg and attach a small frame pump. Everything is totallly solid and looks really neat. Only thing to watch out for (not the fault of this product) is that the screws for whatever you attach don't go right through and hit your frame. Easily solved by adding a couple of washers or getting some shorter M5 bolts (or just sawing a few mm off).

Does the job

Found the frame holes on my bike were too low to be able to be able to fit the battery for an ebike conversion battery this was ideal to move it up enough comes with screws etc

Used to hold the battery on ebike conversion.

I have recently converted my MTB into a ebike. Was having trouble mounting the battery onto the exsisting bottle mounts. So I screwed the battery to these mounts and attached them to the frame using jubilee clips. Very sturdy have no worries about it falling off.

Great Product

The bottle cage fitting on my E road bike prohibited the use of a large water bottle the Topeak Alt Position Cage Mount sorted the problem with no effort. I can now use a 750ml bottle. A simple well designed product. Highly recommended.
