My Whisper filter is really old and definitely was in need of new suction tubing and impeller. This kit is perfect. No more tube guard falling off. More powerful suction with the new impeller.

I couldn't use part of it but I could use the most needed part. The parts I really needed was the tubes that go in the tank. Those worked with my current parts. All good!

The cure for a noisy filter

My whisper aquarium filter was less than whisper quiet it was making an annoying hum/rattle so I figured it was time to replace the impeller. I'm very glad I did! My flter is running almost silently again for less than half the cost of a new unit. The tube is only needed if yours is damaged or you want extra extensions. The impeller is all thats needed if yours is worn and humming.

works with Whisper 30 as specified. have extra parts to extend intake. Same blue impeller that self destruct. Not sure how long this will last as the last impeller crumbled when touched.

Arrived broken

I ordered this to replace the tube from a brand new filter unit. This also arrived broken. There is a hairline crack that prevents suction. Don't waste your money. The design is flawed. I purchased a new filter unit from a different brand and it's working great.

New filter tube much longer than original which was a big plus for me. Found the impeller somewhat noisy though.
