It has twist and lock pins, slightly more difficult to press when connected. It says that you can use any panel as a door, well not so much. My husband is very good at creating solutions for difficult projects. We actually took a swing door walk through baby gate and affixed to the panels. It works well. If you want a taller yard this was great you'll need some ingenuity to step in and out easily.

Worth every penny
I don't have kids. I have VR and a very small play space. After the 4th time punching a wall hard enough to bruise, I realized the "guardian" system is only as good as one's ability to pay attention to it. This gate is about knee height with fully adjustable dimensions, and has saved me from who knows how many more bruised fingers. A physical guardian is a lot harder to ignore. I especially like the stiff locking joints, which makes it freestanding in any configuration. Kind of an eye sore in my room, but better that than hand sore.

Great gate
It arrived already together, just opened and connected the ends. I split it in half to make 2 gates, or stretched it out to are 1 long gate. I closed up 3 panels to make a triangle that prevents children from walking into down the stairs or out of the living room. It really is convient for wondering toddlers. It works for my 3 year old and 1 year old

Great fence play yard for the outdoors.
I have a fence yard for containing the kids indoor, but I wanted something for the outside. The Honeycomb Play yard's 'stakes' feature is a nice addition and creates a sturdy boundary for my rough and tumble child. It sets up fairly easily and fairly portable. I may actually start using this inside more often

LOVE IT!
This is the same product as the Baby’s R Us play yard!! I use this for my bunnies, and it’s sturdy enough to keep them in and deal with their chewing. This product is easy to move, and really is an exceptional play pen!
