Runs Small

Very tight first time I am putting this on. I measured my knee (17 in) and used the size chart to order a Lg. I prob should have gotten a XL. Will update after taking a good walk in it.

GOOD QUALITY, BUT SIZES ARE A BIT OFF

I've been using this same brand of brace for over 3 years, I have a bad ACL. I usually by them at Academy Sports, but found it for less $ here in amazon so I ordered one, same size as my previous 3, but the one I got fits looser that the older ones, same size and everything. Other that that, it is an excellent brace, comfortable enough to wear it all day long, and yet it gives the support I need. I simply can't go out without it, until I have surgery on my knee, this is the only way I can bear the pain and can walk up and down the stairs. The anti-microbial fabric is a wonder, I don't have to wash it every day like the ones made out of other materials.

Good, not great`

I bought these knee braces because I have an allergy to neoprene, and these knee braces are latex and neoprene free. They are supportive, but not as supportive as the regular knee braces. They do a fine job, and one pair lasts me about six months (and I constantly wear mine). I do wish they were a bit less expensive.

Supportive and well constructed brace. I am a nurse. I stand on my feet for 12+ hours per day. I am also a nurse with a torn meniscus flap. My knee became weak and buckled easily after my injury but I still needed to work while I awaited surgery. This brace was a live saver. It stays in place with the gel, grip stuff on the top. It is a breathable material but does still get warm after moving around for a bit. Word of advise, THIS BRACE RUNS SMALL! I am petite, 5'4" 128lbs, I have an athletic build so pretty muscular thighs but a large is snug and takes so coercing to get on. What ever size you think you are, order a size larger; maybe two. Great brace, worth the price.

Love this brace!

I had a lateral release more than 10 years ago along with a loose piece of cartilage. Anyone who has had knee surgery can tell you that surgery is not a fix all and needless to say I have been through a lot of braces since my injury. This is by far the absolute best brace I have ever used. Comfortable without the irritation caused by neoprene. Excellent support without the weight you usually see with a hinged brace. I honestly like this version better than Mueller's hinged model. I can wear (and often do if I'm out hiking) this brace all day comfortably and my knee will be noticeably less sore after than if I had no brace or another model on. I cannot recommend this brace enough, don't waste money on more expensive braces this one will be all you need.

Best non-custom knee brace !!!!!

Sprained medial meniscus needed this "Firm" support. The brace is very comfortable due to full coverage of knee (covers front and back). Open designs in the back pinch when you bend your knee. Mueller makes a great product and this is an exceptional brace for the money. The steel springs are rigid than most and is quite sleek and not bulky. There is a knee cap guide on the bottom of the brace which snugly secures the patella. I also bought the identical "hinged" brace. The amount of support I get from this brace is comparable to the hinged "maximum" support brace. Advantage of this brace is this brace can be worn under a pair of khakis or dress slacks. Nothing beats this brace for its price!!!!

Ran big. Measured according to size guide and still big. Also, patella support is so so...

Disappointed

The brace tore (3 inches long) on a seam after 5 uses. :-( Have to try to get warranty on it now through the manufacturer I guess. I actually ordered 3 of these in the last few months, and 2 of 3 have ripped at the seam. I have been using these for years (more that I can remember) and never had problems. I have one of these braces on each knee. Bought the same type and size like i have in the past. Maybe a bad batch or change of material? As far as the brace itself goes.....it is great. Provides great support. I replace them every year due to normal wear from usage. I play badminton and squash and I am wearing them at least 6 times a week.

Great product. Soft knee braces are the way to go.

I Use this product for any sports related activities but mainly snowboarding. Doesn’t itch and you won’t sweat to much underneath depending on what your doing. You can’t go wrong w/ this knee brace and you won’t hurt yourself further if you fall on it because there are no hard metal parts to slam your knee into upon impact. Don’t cheap out. Your knees will thank you.
