Works but needs better QC

I bought this product to try and get some sort of exercise while I was working. Box was delivered with some damage, Not the sellers fault but was still there. Luckily it was packed pretty securely in the box with a lot of Styrofoam. The product seems nice and sturdy which is nice but then I started to take a look at it. Stickers were peeling off the sides of the machine and the display screen was just hanging out by the cable that connects it to the internals. The Right "leg" of the machine was also not in line with the stamped groove in the base of the machine. I finished assembling the machine by attaching the foot paddles, put the display screen back into the housing and gave it a shot. The machine itself works pretty well, the different tension settings did put up a different amount of resistance which is good. However the display didn't light up. I pulled the display out of its housing and found there wasn't a battery included, which upon looking in the product listing on the page was included. I've been using the product for a good part of a day now and it seems like it will work fine for me but I cant Justify giving more than a 3 star rating because of the things that were just a little off. Probably just needs better quality control and everything would be great. Also you need to have some sort of grip mat underneath to keep this thing from scooting around. I just used some extra drawer liner for my tool box to give it some grip. Go to Walmart and buy a roll, its like 6 bucks. No sense giving 20 plus dollars for a mat that is just overpriced.

Get a little exercise while stuck at home!

Just got this elliptical machine as a Christmas present for myself, and while I haven't been using it for very long, so far I have been pleased with my purchase. Here's my evaluation of it to date: Pluses: + Extremely easy to set up and use, right out of the box. The time between my opening the box and operating the machine was <4 minutes. + Seems very solidly built. Unit doesn't shimmy or shake even when using it standing up -- and I am not a small guy. I am using it on a carpeted floor, and it doesn't slide around when I am pedaling in a seated position. With the resistance setting cranked up, you have to push a little harder and I appreciate that solid construction. + It has a handy usage meter to count pedals strokes, exercise time, and calories burned (although I am not sure about the accuracy of that measure). + It comes with two elastic resistance bands to work out the upper body as well -- a nice addition, to be certain. + Foot treads are large enough to easily accommodate bigger feet (size 13 in my case). + It is quiet to operate -- won't disturb the downstairs neighbors! Minuses: - I had hoped for a unit that I could use under my dining room table (a/k/a new office). While this unit has a low profile, I still couldn't use it under the dining room table. To be fair, I have tried a couple of other pedaling exercisers and they haven't worked either so it may be me, or my DR table (or both). I have been using it seated in a DR chair so far with good success. - It's not lightweight as I read on Amazon. It is solidly built and weighs ~25 lbs. It has a handle to pick it up and move. Easy enough for me, but it may be an issue for some with strength / mobility issues to pick up and move it all the time. - The activity meter is a little hard to read; a back-lit display would make it easier to see. Because it is a compact model, you won't be able to get the same sort of stride that you would on the one at the gym, but it is a nice alternative and allows you to get some exercise while stuck at home. I would recommend this to others looking to shake up their sedentary quarantine life!

Not a good under desk Elliptical Machine and dishonest CS

The media could not be loaded. I ordered this SereneLife Under Desk Elliptical Machine on November 15, 2022 (This machine was supposed to be a Christmas gift, so I ordered early to ensure it would be available), recv’d it on November 18, 2022; retrieved and assembled the machine on November 21, 2022. After unboxing the elliptical and while assembling (easy assembly; tool and hardware included), I noticed that the styrofoam packing had melted on the feet of the elliptical. I took pix. Once assembled, I heard a continuous squeaking sound from the mini flywheel. **See attached video/pic. I contacted the SereneLife/PyleUSA on November 21, 2022 via email. On November 22, 2022 as requested, I sent the CS person my Amazon order #, pic and a video of the problems. I received a correspondence stating that the SLEPL9 would be replaced. I continued to inquire about my replacement elliptical and was assured repeatedly via email that it was on the way. I chose this particular elliptical because it was portable, multifunctional and the PRICE. I continued to monitor the site selling this product and the sales price changed often. I see that this machine is still on the marketplace and doesn’t say backorder or low quantity. As of December 22, 2022, I haven’t received my replacement machine and Christmas is just 3 days away. The machine might be good, but I would know. Also, in their reply emails they kept asking me to give them a good review. NOPE‼️‼️ I do not recommend this elliptical due to the squeaky flywheel and what appears to be deceptive business practices. I received an email stating that a replacement elliptical was sent from New York to Texas. As of January 16, 2023, DHL hadn't received the package and as of January 19, 2023 the tracking info is no longer available. This company has no intention of replacing their faulty product.

Is the product purchased faulty?

The media could not be loaded. This is not a review but a question about the quality of the product. I bought sereneLife SLEPL9 machine two weeks ago, which I have enjoyed using however the right hand side wheel has become slightly dislodged making it loud and hard to use. I want to know if this is a faulty equipment or is there a way to fix it? I have sent this query to the supplier’s support e-mail address but have had no reply.

Knocking noise

I bought this to help after my knee replacement operation. It makes a knocking noise all the time which is extremely annoying - as it came from America it makes it difficult or impossible to return.
