I tried the French Toast brand for the first time ...

I tried the French Toast brand for the first time a year and a half ago (size 5 slim). It's hard to find clothes that fit my little man. He's tall and skinny. The slim sizes fit him perfectly. The double enforced knees are a savior too. He's 6 now (and just moved into the size 7 slim) and has always been very active. He even break dances in them! :) As long as he has uniforms, I will continue to buy this brand from this seller.

Good pants for the price

The "6 Slim" size is a little short on our tall 5-year-old. The hook closure makes it easy for him to dress himself for school. The fabric softened up very well after one or two washings with a little fabric softener.

TOUGH uniform pants for active boys

French toast makes the best uniform pants. These are very sturdy & maybe a little on the stiff side, but they hold up to the utter destruction that my 6 year old son can bring to his pants. Hit them with a little spray-n-wash & throw them in the wash. They come out clean & stain free.

They are very durable. Been through quite a bit of brands and all the knees rip out but so far so good on the french toast pants there is no showing or wear on them either

My son is 5 yrs. and typically wears a size 6. I ordered a size 7 to give him some room for growth and they're too short.

Short!

I purchased these thinking they were the same as the ones I got from Academy, they are not! These are the same length and waist as the 6 slims from Academy. So, I purchased the 7 slims from Academy and compared them to these. The Academy pants are an 1.25" longer than these!
