Great business casual shoe

These shoes were comfortable right out of the box, and they're great for a business casual work environment. I wear them with jeans, khakis, and slacks, and I've received compliments on them. I wear them daily, and they last pretty well. They have a decent grip, and I feel comfortable walking on ice and snow in them without slipping. Every day on my lunch break, I walk for a mile or two wearing them, and they work well (though I would switch to sneakers or hiking boots for an actual hike). The only downside is the laces don't last very long, but those are easy enough to replace.

Comfortable and look good too

I have 7.5 wide which are super hard to find. These shoes fit well and are super comfortable which is usually code word for the look bad! They don't, they look good too!

Fit

They look great and feel great. I’ve bought Rockport’s for years. I do wish they made extra wide. I’m realizing as you get older your feet turn into pancakes.

Good Quality, Tight Ankle Fit

I like the shoes and kept them after trying a number of other pairs / stores. However, the first day the tongue cut into my ankle and made it feel bruised (it was very stiff). That still hasn't gone away completely after multiple days, but it's better now and not noticeable with every step anymore.

Serious flaw in gorgeous shoe

See the photo with this review. This is how the shoe looks after being worn for five minutes. It appears to be a well-made and well fitting shoe, but the dye in the leather is only on the surface of the shoe. With a little bit of wearing, the dye is forced out at the surface by creasing of the leather. Can’t imagine what the shoe would look like after a month of wearing. Sending back.

Kinda Disappointing

I bought these to replace old Rockports that are discounted and they seemed like the most similar design to what I had before. I find the leather a bit too stiff and a bit too shiney. The heel cup is really aggressive and digs into my heel. Time will tell if I can work it out. These shoes feel like something you could buy for half the cost at a local department store.

Awful

Worst pair of shoes I’ve ever bought. I’ve had many pairs of Rockports but these are awful - the leather in the uppers deteriorated in less than 2 months.
