A great product
Great stuff--I've gotten a solid result on my first time caulking with silicone, thanks to some research that I did beforehand. As others have stated, the smell is pretty intense...and it'll probably stay intense for a day or so unless you're actively ventilating the area. It isn't anything beyond what a regular DIYer or mechanic has come across...but it might be a little much for people accustomed to candles, febreze and such. The other thing is that it cures quickly--when it says that it's waterproof in an hour, the unstated implication is that it starts curing -very- quickly when exposed to oxygen, and will start to form a "skin" over the bead within, say, five minutes or so after you've applied it...so I wouldn't recommend applying a long line of it then going back to smooth and clean. I did a total of about 15 feet with turns, all at once, and I found myself having to rush at the end because the thin "skin" layer started to ball up on me at the end. If you're new to this, I probably wouldn't take this more than five or ten feet at a time. Also, once it has started hardening to the point that messing with it is raising the skin, then it's time to leave it alone until the next day--once it has fully cured, you can clear up mistakes with a blade. I've heard that dipping your finger in Mineral Spirits is a good way to smooth the bead, but as I live in CA, I'm apparently not mature enough to be given access to that product...so I used some Orange Goop to clean up. It's slow and leaves a weird residue for awhile, but it (eventually) works.

Does a fine job
This works ok for what I needed it for (bathtub). It's a bit messy. Being that it is silicone it is very sticky. It's also not fully opaque white, it's definitely white (not clear) but a bit see-through.

Lasts 18 months
Does not get mold but lasts about 18 months when it needs to be replaced. Starts to lose adhesion. If you get this for your shower plan on changing it each year. I have Jetta Stone which is like Corian. The second time I applied this 7-13-2017, I cleaned the surface with acetone after carefully removing all the old sealant. There was no mold or mildew on the old Red Devil sealant I removed. I will note how long it holds up this time. In the places where there was no direct water contact the sealant was hard to remove, on the floor areas it pulled away easily for the most part.

Shower Caulk
1 Month in, so far so good - already outlasted the two prior caulks that I used - Very quick drying but I let it dry 24 hours anyway - - -Update, lasted a year, still holding up but I am giving it a new coat - Super Satisfied

Sealing is believing
Used to replace failing caulk around high end bath surround that was installed with inferior caulk. The most difficult part of the job was removing the old caulk. The actual recaulking of about 20 linear feet took about 20 minutes to complete and clean up. Red Devil displays excellent adhesion and retains a pure white colour. Ensure to ventilate area in which you are working well, due to strong odour of this fast-drying caulk. Bought at an add-on price and would highly recommend.

Bathtub application: Easy to apply. Dries fast but it does smell a little! It looks great still and hopefully it will stay like that for a long time.
