Have Bought 10 Pairs of these Shoes Over 5 Years

I live in these shoes and here are the pros and cons from my perspective. I buy them because I have hammer toes and a high arch, and they do not cause pressure points on my feet. If I take out the lining and replace it with my “GO” padded arch supports they work well for me. If your arch is not high you may be able to just add your arch support. You will never wear out the sole as the upper back top lining will develop frays and holes before that, and I always wear thin socks with my shoes over the support stockings I must always wear. My foot is of normal width but these have narrow toes so have moved up a half size about two years into buying them. I also think the sizing changed slightly depending on what country they were made in. I have compared shoes against one another. I look for sales as they don’t last that long with every day wear. The designs with the plastic toe guards and leather heel backs hold up better than those without particularly if you drive much. I have all sorts of orthotic type shoes but like the these the best. I do not live in a place with a lot of rain, but have at times sprayed these with water repellent. I have hand washed a silver pair with some success and fit was not effected.

narrow and comfortable

Finally a comfortable tennis shoe that is actually narrow! It is a great fit in length and width. Stays on well. I usually have problems with the shoes slipping off my heal. Pretty good arch support. Nice style, looks good. Like the easy on and off stretch strings, which also this makes it easy to adjust for width. I am concerned that the strings may stretch out over time, but if so I will try to replace the string or use regular shoe laces.

Comfy

This is my 6th pair of this shoe. Working on one of every color as they are so comfortable but give good support for walking. I wear them almost every day and have never had an issue with any discomfort or the shoe not holding up. A pair I bought a couple of years ago and wear the most still kept there shape and pretty well look brand new. I highly recommend this item.

Love these shoes! On my 7th pair!

This is my 7th pair of Propet!!! I love them. I have C.M.T. And require really low, really flexible soles ,very wide shoes. Please don’t ever stop selling them!!

Changed for the worse…..

I probably have owned 20 pairs of this exact Propet model 3239. I currently have 6 pair between my 2 houses. I buy new ones when they wear out, and I have never seen a change in the shoe. Until now. This new pair is NO WAY like all the previous ones. Sizing is off (too large) and most importantly, the entire toe compartment is constructed differently. There’s now a stiff band of something (feels like cardboard) on top of the toe area that rubs and catches on my toes with every step I take. Very uncomfortable and clearly not the well-made shoe this used to be. When it comes time to buy another replacement pair, I will give these a try just to see if this pair is a one off. If not, then Propet will have lost a long time customer.

A good all day shoe when you have lots of errands to check off your list

This shoe holds my feet in perfect alignment. I have arthritis in my right foot and these shoes support my foot in such a way that I can walk and have aches and pain in that foot. I can wear them all day!

Propet rules!

I stumbled upon Propet shoes when looking for an UGG type boot. I tried at least 6 pairs of UGGS and could never get one that fit properly. I then tried Minnetonka, Merrells and a few other brands all with the same result. I saw the Propet Women's Rachel Boot and thought I would give it a try. I struck gold. It not only fits well, but it is also the most comfortable boot/shoe I have ever tried! I wish all my shoes had the same cushiony fit as these boots. Liking the brand so well I also got the Propet Women's W3850 Slip-On Sneaker and the Propet Travel Walker II. The first day I had the Travel Walker II, I walked for 4 miles in total comfort. The cushioning in both the sneaker and the walker is not quite as comfortable as that in the Rachel Boot, but it is, nonetheless, very comfortable. Very often I buy something that I love and then when it comes time to buy the same thing again, it has been discontinued. So I bought another pair of the Rachel Boots that I have stored in my closet for such a time. Propet shoes are true to size unlike so many brands these days that tell you to order a size larger or a size smaller. If they know that, then why don't they correct the sizing? You can trust that Propet delivers what it advertises. The boots and the sneakers also came Scotchgarded which is great and saves me the expense and time doing it/getting it done myself. I do wish, however, that Propet had the same memory foam in the footbed cushions of the sneaker and the walker as they do in the boot--then it would all be perfect! I find it humorous that the guarantee with my boots said something to the effect of "guaranteed to last 1000 miles or 6 months!" Well, I don't know too many people that put that mileage to test! But it is a clever catch-phrase!

I love these shoes

I love these shoes. However in the past I bought a pair that was a 7.5 M (D) and they were about 1.5 inches longer. Since I wanted to be able to wear very thick socks with the recent ones bought I bought a 7.5 (2E) X and the shoe itself is shorter than the previous one and I can't wear as many layer of even the thing socks worn in the previous one. . Along with that I've bought another style of the Propet slip on shoe and I had ordered it first but received after the Travel Walker II. I ordered 8 XX(4E) on that one. Hoping once again to accommodate what is necessary for my feet with layers and/or very thick socks. Hoping that the extra width in the shoe would accommodate that. However in receiving them today, I find that is impossible for apparently the size 8 is no longer than the 7.5 on the most recent Travel Walker. But because of the lightness of the shoe, and the fact that they don't have odors so many do, and my feet rebel to most shoes, due to the components they are made of, I really have had high hopes they would end my search for shoes I can wear with the layer of socks, and it not feel like they were weight down with cement. Disappointed that there is no consistency with the shoe size so as to be able to order appropriately. If Propet get that problem solved they will always rank No 1 and I'd buy no other.

I got these because I have another pair that's pretty much worn out. They're not great support but are very comfortable, but here's the thing: I ordered the same size as my old ones, and my new ones are bigger. Go figure. But they're very red, which is the main reason I bought them!

Not wide enough for me

I was so happy when I found these-love the minimal design and the toggles got laces and they came in varying widths! I ordered the 2E width and I’m so disappointed. I don’t find them to be any wider than regular width running shoe-any brand. My foot is way over the edges-I can feel the sides of the bottom on my foot. Sadly I will be returning them.
