It’s not rubber reach down and make sure. It’s in the right position before turning on the shower

It’s made out of clear plastic. Are original one was made black rubber. It sealed better and was more flexible. But we installed the new one and we are going to keep it. I think with a few modifications it will do the job. I did see a option for buying a rubber seal like the one we replaced

Easy for Amateurs

The lining on my stand-up shower door (old style, not all glass or frameless) wore out. A few pictures and some research led me here. It fit, I measured and added like another 1/4” and it works great. I have no experience doing anything like this and it worked.

T-top makes a difference.

The T-top is far more effective in preventing seepage between the seal bar and the frame.

Easy to replace!

this gasket arrived the day after I ordered it and it worked perfectly. I used my kitchen scissors to trim it to length, and it slid into the existing shower door easily. Good value for the price - I had been considering something much more expensive!

Once installed no more water will leak under the shower door.

Folded, should have been rolled

The folds distorted the T in the tape. I had already cleaned the slot along the bottom edge of the extrusion of calcium. As I started sliding the tape the distortions at the first folds kept the tape from sliding in. After cutting away the distortion at each fold and lubricating the slot with WD40 the tape slid in OK. This product could have easily been rolled in the same packaging and eliminated the distortions.

This works as intended

It requires some manipulation to install and a bit of patience but it works. This item is kind of hard to find so I was pleased to locate one on Amazon. I would buy again if needed.

Wow!

Apparently someone purchased this item cut it up into 5 pieces didn’t have any idea what they were doing and returned it. Obvious no reinspections of returned items.

The best and only one that worked

I bought 3 different shower sweeps from home hardware and home depot. All of which broke after 2 uses. spent over $40 replacing with faulty parts and this one is the one to work perfectly. I have opened and closed the door many times over the last month and it is not cracking or peeling off. home depot told me to get the wrong product and it was over $20 , and home hardwares broke all the time and were double the price. Same brand but different product than what was int he stores.

Didn’t work out

The Material is too flimsy, and it was hard to mould it into the spot, it wouldn’t hold in place, kept coming out, didn’t fit right for my shower. The delivery was very quick and customer service was great!
