Good for price

The media could not be loaded. For the price compared to superior brands, this isn’t a bad deal for $15. As you see in the picture the manufacturing is slightly less than perfect with the imperfections in the cutting parts. They feel ok in the hand, the grips are a little bulky, but not a deal breaker. They feel tough enough. The handles move pretty freely.

GOOD BRAND - GREAT PRODUCT - EXPENSIVE ...

Quality and efficiency is on par with most of the brand's tools if not a bit above. These are well-built, properly designed, heavy duty tools. They will get the work done and then some more. Cutting ability is very good (not excellent) and the tool is quite capable of dealing with almost anything you can throw at it. However, it will have some difficulty with some of the hardened wire alloys and I must say that a few may put a small dent on the edge. For the asking price I would have expected the tool to be able to cope with those wires easily and without incident. I would ask the seller to lower the price and make it more consonant with the tool's' capabilities.

Good pair of wire cutters for price and use. Had them a year.

Had these for a year. They're heavy duty, comfortable, and cut like butter. I use them to mostly cut copper wire for work and they cut through battery terminal wire, and number 10 wire easily. Cuts up to 4 mm wire easily. After that it's a little tougher but it will still get through it. They're still sharp and still going strong. I will always recommend these.

Already worked for a tricky job.

I got these to work with copper rivets, because there is a bit that you need to clip off. HOWEVER I have not come that far yet. I at first had to clip some corroding steel rivets and they were already closing two bits of leather together. As one can guess it is not easy to fit a seemingly large a tool into a near nonexistent gap! Amazingly the shape of the pliers blades slipped between the leather and did almost no damage to the admittedly thick yet soft and fragile leather. When it came to time to cut the rivets, of course they cut the rivets with ease. But the difficulty of the task and the fact that I never did such a thing before made me think it would turn out to be a mess. But no! they worked wonderfully for the job. Something about the slope on the blades and the general shape made it possible to do a job I am not sure they were even meant for in the first place! On to the next job of setting the new copper rivets and then we will see how they snip the little extra bit off. Even though I have very tiny hands so the tool feels big in my hand I am very happy with my new tool!

nice quality, cut my fencing easily

I got a small dog that was able to pass between the vertical bars on my existing fence. I bought a roll of wire fencing to add to the lower section to keep the dog in. I wanted the job to be as easy as possible since I'm an older female. these cutters were easy on my hands and cut the wire with very little effort.

Best overall diagonal cutter

I use to though all diagonal cutters are the same. This Irwin diagonal cutter proved me I was wrong. Simply cutting a 2 1/2" nail with my old cutter was an exercise in strength. With the Irwin one's, the difference is amazing. These pliers are incredibly efficient for a really affordable price. Highly recommended.

Quality tool

Nice size tool for a large variety of uses. Those long comfortable grip handles enables one to apply great force to whatever you are cutting. Appears to be a quality tool, the longevity of the sharpness will be the real test. It cut through a wire clothes hanger like it was a twizzler.

Great pliers

Doesn't take a lot of force when cutting, depending on the wire being cut. Used to cu a lot of thick wire mesh and preformed quite well. No nicks or gouges in the blade. Feels good in your hand. A great tool.
