I'm hooked on Seji Taram wood carvings !!

This was the 3rd of 3 pieces that I ordered. I wanted to have something intriguing to look at in my home and when I saw these dragons I instantly knew that bringing this Balinese wood carving art into my home was going to make the target wall very special. I had looked at many many choices before coming across the dragons. What really made me go for it was Seji's smooth style. Its just beautiful. All pieces were true to the pictures shown with intricate carving, attention to graceful lines and rich color. My husband and I are trying to come up with names for these toothy, bearded beasts as they are already dear to us. I am thrilled. Thank you !!

A piece of art.

I am a sci fi/fantasy fan, so when I saw this, I thought “this will be something interesting. A conversation piece”. It is made of a lightweight wood – suar wood (which is a raintree), so it hangs easily on the wall (there are two small hooks on the back), OR another option is to prop it on a bookcase. The carved art, because that is what I would consider it, is signed on the back. The carving is intricate and has a ton of detail - even down to the scales and feathers. There are two winged dragons (claws and fangs) with a blooming flower between them. Overall, this is a nice piece of art if you can afford it. 4.5 stars
