Perfect Fit
I bought my mower 2nd hand and it needed a few new belts. I couldn't find this one locally so I had to turn to Amazon. It fits perfectly and I've ran the mower for around 10 hours or so and haven't had any issues.

Belt is not a proper fit.
The belt is thicker than the MTD OEM it replaced. It is not 5/8". Belt is too tight. 6 speed variable drive is now 2 speed. Looks to be a quality part but does not replace OEM as advertised. MTD built Bolens Garden tractor. Will buy the OEM MTD belt. Contacted Stens, who did not reply.

Easy to install and makes my lawnmower runs great

Too tight fitting.
I installed this belt on my mower with great difficulty as it is too tight which makes the mower not want to go past 3rd gear. If you want to use higher gears you must physically pull the clutch pedal back with your foot. I would recommend buying the original mtd oem belt over this replacement any day.
