Smooths lumps & bumps

Bought 40D, weight 198lbs, and 5’4”. I am bigger in the hips, and a little tight to get pulled up over them, but once on it feels soft and supportive. It smoothed my lower belly (post c section) and back fat. I could literally sleep in this it is so comfortable.

A little about me and then let me tell you about this shapewear

About me: I’m 5’3, 160 pounds. I’m an upside down triangle (big breasted with more fat on the arms and back) and smaller waist and athletic legs. On my “fat” days, I’m a 38 D. I’m 40 years old but age doesn’t matter, right?! What I needed: I struggle to find control for the girls and need my back to be smoothed out because I hate it when I get rolls when I wear any type of bra – even if I’m fitted properly…I get rolls above and below my bra line, UGH!!! I also was not looking for a girdle-type affect. I wasn’t expecting to go down in sizes – just want smoothness and firm control. I find it hilarious that some of the comments here were expecting such. It is so very difficult to find the “perfect” body shaper but honestly, without trying it on, it is a hit or miss. Here is what I found for myself The cup size is perfect and true to size. It has some padding (not of the heavy variety) but being that my GIRLS are already on the WOW side, less padding is best for me. However, it does the extra padding gives them a nice soft shape and lift. The fabric is soft to the touch. I stepped into the body shaper expecting to wrestle my way in it – I even prayed a bit before pulling it up but surprisingly, it went up nicely. Of course, lots of pinching and pulling here and there until I got it over my butt, stomach, and boobs but I didn’t curse my way into it or break a nail. And it didn’t take over 5 minutes to fully adjust everything. I looked in the mirror and saw that it did smooth everything out including my back. It didn’t give the double boob look either. The stomach area does have a double liner so there IS CONTROL. For those saying "it's not holding my stomach in", gurl...it didn't suck or flatten mine either; you are round and bodacious that's all. This garment smoooooths you out and works with what YOU have. The crotch area didn’t give me issues and is comfortable to wear. It does have several hook options for height adjustment but If you are very tall (umm over 5’8/ 5’9 or above) there might be issues because I played around with it and it didn’t make such a huge difference. So I give it 4 stars because I really like it. It didn't wow me nor is it the best I've ever had. For me, this one is good...not perfect, but good. It is well made, the cups fit nicely with relatively good coverage and a light lining in the cup. The legs are not cut as high as I like, but the flat fabric at the leg does not leave a panty line, so they are fine. It smooths me out everywhere I wanted it to and is comfortable to wear all day so it's doing it's job nicely. I ordered both the tan and black one. I’m glad it fit nicely and didn’t have to return both of them. If you do need to return them. They offer free returns, which is great otherwise I wouldn’t have ordered. I do review other products at reduce price but I wasn't able to find shapewear to try...I wish, although the Amazon price is decent, people. Haha!

Figure friendly

I have so many of these undergarments but prefer ones with a bra. This one is great and I love the fact you can order by your bra size. The fit is wonderful, comfy and firmly holds my problem areas. Great under pants and dresses, does not show. Don’t be shy try this one out.

Good Briefer

I'm 5'8", 140 lb, and wear a 38C Maidenform bra. I figured this 38C Maidenform briefer would fit just right. It works on most of my body, but the cups are are a little larger than on my bra -- either that, or my bra does a better job of getting everything all in. Getting it on is easier than a leotard -- the material is stretchier. Unless you're very slender (and probably don't even need this) you'll be doing the dance to get it over your hips. The crotch has hook & eye closure, and this is probably the easiest to do/undo that I've had -- certainly easier than on my bras. Also there are two rows of eyes, so you can adjust for comfort. My big body issue is the dreaded "apron" -- all those gain/lose weight cycles leave loose tummy tissue that won't go away no matter how many sit-ups and leg lifts you do. I wanted that little tummy bump to disappear when I wear body-con styles. Verdict: yes and no. It does slim me -- I no longer feel I have to walk around holding my tummy in. However -- the shaper has a V pattern of material that is stitched in. Those stitches show through stretchier fabrics, though less noticeably on, say, sweater dresses. So: it mostly works; I find it comfortable to wear all day, and it's easy to use. Hence the 4/5. Disclaimer: every woman's body is different. Especially if she's like me, not a model :) I'm fairly slender, so take that into account.

I buy these shape wear pieces all the time since having kids. This one however is meant for super short people I think. Lol. Or good if your boobs hang so far down the cups still catch it. Other than that I loved it as usually. Returned since my boobs don’t hit the floor though.

If only they had bigger sizes

I tried this on during a full bloat moment and from the front it still looked amazing. I could imagine how great it would look on someone with a smaller stomach and bigger butt. Everything was amazing but the cup size was too small and the back came down pretty far so it gives fat rolls in the back and boob spillage on the sides.

Sexy and comfortable

Because I fall between a C and D and between a 36 and 38 and don't really have a "usual size", I ordered three sizes: 36C; 38C; and 36D. Any of them would have worked but I chose to keep the 36D because it held in my tummy slightly tighter than the 38. I chose the D over the C cup simply out of vanity and there really was no detectable difference. Because I found another body shaper in a beige that went perfectly under my white tops, I got this body shaper in black to go under my non-white/-light colored clothing. It looks and feels sexy, it's comfortable, it's smooth under clothing, and it fits and supports in all the right places... no butt indentations, no back fat, no tummy rolls. I'm afraid I'll wear it out wearing it so frequently so I'll have to get another one soon in case they discontinue it or change it in the future. (I also got and love the Bali Women’s Shapewear Firm Control Ultra Light Built-in Bra Lace Body Shaper Briefer Fajas DF6552, in nude 36C, and it's great under light-colored clothing. The lace is feminine, the shaper makes my chest look great, and it's equally comfortable.)

I am 5'10 so would of liked it slightly longer in the body but still fits well, lovely and smooth under a tight dress and smooth back too as no fastening. Would happily recommend

I'd looked at quite a few of these body shapers on line and found that the ones that I liked were either out of stock or came in odd sizes. I was on the point of giving up but then came across this one. I ordered it but wasn't really expecting to like it. It arrived the next day which was a bonus. I must admit that when I opened it, it looked very plain but when I tried it on I was very pleasantly surprised.It was true to size,a perfect fit and did the job perfectly. It held me in in all the right places and left a smooth finish without any over hangs anywhere! The back is high enough so that there are no bulges and it was comfortable to wear. If you are looking for something practical rather than sexy, then I would definitely recommend this.

Excellent. I’m a 34C and 152cm tall. The length of the shaper is perfect for me. No spilling from the cups and does a great job in smoothing and tucking the tummy in. Perfect under a dress. Totally seamless. I have 2 of these, a black and the other nude. A great buy. I have used this product since I delivered my baby and the quality of Maidenform shape wear is incomparable, not to mention the lasting effect. Great quality product to last you years provided you care for it while washing.
