The Birds Have It
I included before and after photos. I was impressed by the quality of these panels. Yes, like others have stated they had some strings to trim off but over all I felt I got a lot of bang for the buck. I love how they changed up the room instantly. Sure, they’re not black out but I didn’t really want that and the lining is nice and they block out just enough light for me. I love them.

The beautiful, unusual pattern is what attracted me to these curtains. I have a companion bird (B&G macaw) so was looking for bird theme curtains. I didn't want them all the same so these worked well to complement the other bird pattern curtains I found and bought. I particularly liked the hummingbirds on them. My bird's "best friend" in California where we used to live was a hummingbird who visited the feeder outside his window and would then hang out by him for as long as 20-30 minutes at a time; very unusual behavior for a hummer, showing that he was indeed communing with my macaw. I read the reviews that criticized them because they weren't blackout, only partially darkening. I looked up standard curtain terms and the reviewers who criticized these because they could see light through them don't understand the standard terms used by many curtain makers - "Darkening" means 70-80% of the light is filtered, which is pretty much exactly what these curtains do. "Blackout" means all light is blocked, that these curtains are Not. But I wanted some light to come through but not be able to see objects or people through them; which is what these curtains do perfectly. The colors and pattern don't seem made for "blackout" anyway - they're too colorful and cheerful to hide in a darkened room. The filtered sunlight coming through this light colored curtain and lighting up the nature scene on the outside look wonderful! The wrinkles some reviewers complained of disappeared within a couple of days after hanging them - no ironing, no big deal at all! Gravity did the ironing for me. A couple of drawbacks: - the curtain rod pocket at the top is too small for a rod strong enough to hold these curtains securely; so I had to buy and use clips to install these - finding curtain tie-backs that complement this unusual pattern and its colors has been difficult. The maker could make an extra $8-10 per pair by making and selling a pair of matching tie-backs. Not a drawback, just a suggestion to the maker: to eliminate the complaints about not blocking all light, besides mentioning "darkening" explain that they block most of the light but not all (or something to that effect).

Absolutely beautiful
I have always had plain curtains. Curtains with a print were always busy for me. But I wanted a change and after looking at numerous options I landed on these. I have no regrets. Let's get the business out of the way. The material is high quality. I gave it a four out of five on thickness solely because these are not room darkening curtains. They are light filtering. I knew that prior to buying them and ordered thermal liners to go behind them. Efficiency is also a 4 because these are light filtering curtains. Now to the star which the print on these curtains. It is absolutely phenomenal. The background is what I would call a cream color. The birds are a true bluish and reddish-orange combination. That complemented with the feathers that run throughout the entire curtain is a beautiful combination. I do not like Rod pocket curtains so I decided to hang them with curtain clips. I think it just made them even more pretty because they're not gathered on the top and pool nicely on the floor. I am so pleased with this purchase. Now I have to make the rest of the room step up to match the curtains.

Black out - NOT
While I love the pattern and color and was really pleased to find these curtains here at $20 less than another shop I was planning on getting them at, they are by no means blackout curtains. There is zero lining to black out light. That being said, they look fabulous but I'm still a little disappointed in the lack of room darkening

Slightly more sheer than I had hoped.
Even tho these curtains are slightly more sheer than I hoped, I do have to say that I love them! I had debated on buying them because I’m not really a “print person” & favor more of a minimalist decor. But I decided to go a little more boho for my bedroom & I’m glad I did!! I love the colors and the print. It makes me so happy to wake up to these pretty curtains everyday:)
