nice sink, the hardware for installing in counter top isn’t always right stuff for our counter

replacing the old sink was a no brainer . the old one wore out after 45 plus year old. it was in desperate need of being replaced. glad i made that decision to upgrade to this new deep single bowl sink. easy choice it was for me. i got what i thought was the right choice to put in my kitchen. we love this whole sink set up that i chose to get and have my plumber buddy install for me. this was the best thing we’ve done to allow us a better and more efficient sink that more modern than ever. the whole sink system with the inserts for a cutting board and vegetable colander style drain pan. and we’ve got a drain rack also for this sink. we love what was chosen for our purpose and everything is just perfect for all we needing.the faucet style works the way i’d like to have a faucet do it’s job . it’s nice to have in all aspects in our uses. i will not regret what we have now. it’s perfect for all we have.. id recommend this sink for anyone who is wanting the most useful and amazing sinks i’ve come across. it’s perfect for us personally. the amazon commercial disposal is priceless to use with this sink too. a 1horse motor will make bones disappear in seconds. but i don’t recommend putting those down the drain under normal circumstances . we had one go down by accident and found it was gone without any problems… just saying, it will chop up bones .. this combination of items i used works the best for all our uses.. we love this whole set up!!!!

Great Workstation

Wonderful workstation for looks and people that use the kitchen a lot. I cook a lot and at first, I wasn’t sure about a single sink because I have always had a double sink. It gives such a huge open area to do your needs without making a mess. I noted that it’s high maintenance, cleaning is recommended regularly, use a sponge or soft cloth. Can’t even use the green side of your scribing pad, it scratches easy. Often clean to avoid water spots or slight darkening when water dries. Other then that, it’s a quality sink, comes with a template for top or bottom mount and all accessories needed. Single sink also creates great space under the sink to store stuff. I would recommend it.

Can be scratched easily!

The sink has done us good and worked well so far. We've had it right at 4 weeks and we love the spaciousness of the sink however we did notice as early as the second day it was scratching really easily and lightly. Will monitor that to see how that goes over a longer period of time.

Style and quality

I love the style and quality of sink itself. Its a lil hard to rinse food particles down the drain as it doesnt seem to slope any for easier draining. Wish the rubber rack had a space for holding silverware like the one at our beach home.

Perfect for our RV

This 30 inch sink may seem extremely large for an RV galley that is less than 6 feet in length. However, we had a double sink in before that was a little bit smaller and with the features of the workstation sink, we actually have more workable counter space. I do a fair amount of cooking, so the prep area provided by the cutting board and drain rack do the trick. And I can still wash my hands without moving stuff around. I also purchased the Krauss soap dispenser, which eliminated one other thing on the countertop.

This is a Beautiful Sink!

Updated our kitchen with this lovely sink. I LOVE it!! Deep and wide. Really makes the kitchen look sleek and upgraded. Highly recommend.

So much space and utility - undermount option

Have had it installed for a little over a week now and I love how easy it makes kitchen chores. Washing a large pan or heavy crock pot is so simple now. I added a roll-out dish rack (also from Kraus) and now those large pots and pans can dry without taking up space in the sink or on the counter too. The garbage disposal is quieter now when using the solid drain cover. I only need to remove it to dump coffee grounds. Small waste still flows easily into the drain while the cover is in place. The look of the sink with the cover in place is also much improved. I've used the chopping board once, and having it directly over the drain is a convenience I didn't know I needed. I normally use my chopping board in "landscape" mode, so the orientation is off for me, but I'll get used to it. I've only bothered to wipe the sink down once, with a dry sponge. It removed the spots without using cleaner. Probably will continue that at regular weekly intervals. I upgraded from a two-bowl sink with garbage disposal, so having only the center-mounted garbage disposal with this sink freed up a ton of space underneath in the cabinet. I was able to put all of the items I had under there previously, plus the two new accessories (chopping board and drainer). Having the right tools and an occasional second pair of hands is essential if installing yourself. I had to test fit the new sink several times to ensure proper alignment with the existing cut-outs in the countertop, and to mark holes in the new sink for the faucet and air gap cover. I then had to drill the stainless steel with the appropriate-sized carbide tipped hole saw. Fortunately, the hole placement wasn't impacted much by the steel rails mounted under the sink edges. Drilling through those would have been more difficult. I'm very happy with how it all came together and with how the sink performs. It's well designed, highly functional, and looks great.

Love the sink BUT has drawbacks!

I had wanted a sink like this for months. Finally got it for a good price and it is lovely! The only warning I would give potential buyers is: YOU MUST clean this sink thoroughly at least twice a week. When it was installed, I was told if I did not completely scrub it often, the sink would turn black. I'm glad he warned me about that. I have been diligent about that, so no problem there. I will say that the wire bottom that protects the sink from scratches is the big PAIN to clean. Both sides of it have to be scrubbed with a brush to be sure you have all the food waste removed (it tends to catch on and stay there). Also, the sink does scratch fairly easily, even with the wire bottom. I still love the sink, but don't think it's a walk in the park.

Perfect!

It's a really deep and wide sink. Love the look and super easy to clean and maintain. It's a great feature when you are wanting to wash a large pot has lots of room. Love that the accessories come with the sink especially the grid inside bottom to protect from scratches. I can hide a few dirty dishes under the cutting board and little rack if I wanted to. It's great for all your needs.

Sink is crooked!

Seems well made and good quality, but it's not straight, one corner is crooked and my contractor was unable to install it. Will be returning it.

Kraus above mount sink

I purchased this sink to install as an above mount on granite however in the end the granite installer and myself decided to do an undermount install. The sink is listed as a dual mount, however, I would strongly recommend purchasing a strictly undermount sink if that is what you want and not the dual mount because the edge around this sink is quit large. The sink- it is beautiful! It is one of the first things visitors to my home are drawn too. I love the drain rack. It comes with a grid rack to protect the bottom which is great however this rack requires regular cleaning. I usually pull it out and use a bristle brush over it to clean. The cutting board (and dish drain rack) fit on an integrated ledge which is clever. Honestly I have not used the cutting board on the ledge very much, not like I thought I would. Other reviews have stated that food bits are hard to drain out or that it is slower to drain. It drains fine but it is a larger sink so food particles gravitate to the none drain end and I have to pull out the faucet and give it a good spray on that end to get the particles to move down to the drain end. This is the 30 inch sink. Lots of room. If I had a do over I would consider the 27 inch. Without the standard double bowl sink with the divider it is a lot of room. I use barkeepers friend to clean twice a week. I have had the sink now for 6 months and have no issues. Overall I really love this sink.

Looks and functions great

Great value! Love it! The wire Insert keeps dishes and pots raised from the basin floor for better drainage and easy rinsing. The cutting board is very sturdy. I use it all the time. My favourite insert is the flexible yet very sturdy dry rack. On top of that it looks great

Only had for 2 weeks

Since I have not had for longer than 3 weeks I dont know anything other than it looks terrific, plumber said it was easy to fit and of good quality. I love the "workstation aspect and use both the cutting board and rack all the time. I would recommend with proviso that I have only had for a short time
