“Wiggle room”

Bought half size up for growing room. We received the boots to realize there is “wiggle room” making it almost 2 sizes too large. The return was a breeze and had the money back in my account quickly. We ordered a second pair and they work perfectly. My little boy loves them. It appears the toes may scuff easily but hopefully some leather cleaner will help that.

Perfect boot, leather so supple

I was looking for a leather boot that is easy to slip on and off for my son. It arrived and the leather felt so buttery soft and it was so easy for my son to slip on and off he was wearing it around the house the whole day. The boot comes with a removable foam sole just in case the boot is too big, and you can remove it if you feel that your feet are too snug. I ordered up 1 size because it's not very wide, it has a square toe but kind of slim in width. We really love this boot and I hope it holds up.

All leather and very nice looking and fitting boot.

I bought these because they were all leather. It is a very nice boot for my 2nd 5 yr old grandson (he's a twin). He loves his boots. He takes pride in them. I did use boot oil for protection from weather and am teaching the boys to care for their boots. I bought 3 different pairs for Christmas this year - one for each grandson. Leather boots are an investment but good boots are worth it. They provide protection and support and slip on and off coming in and out of the house.

Very nice boots for kids - comfortable uppers

The uppers on these boots are very nice and soft - they'll stand up as they show in the picture but will flex and are very comfortable for my boys to wear. These look really nice out of the box and have already logged significant miles since Christmas. The soles clean off easily for when they find mud (not if - when) and these have already been certified for puddle jumping with promising early results. The uppers are also a bit darker in person than they are in the picture but the design looks very cohesive and works well. I'd recommend these for anyone looking for kids boots.

Great Shoes!

I love these shoes. My son loves these shoes and they fit comfortably and are very durable. Now, I could NOT find a way to contact Amazon, and the size of the shoes I bought were too big. I went to try to get a smaller size, but nowhere on the page and or in the refund/replace was any way to get into contact with them to actually request a smaller size. I did everything possible to try to "request" this. I entered in the comments that I wanted a smaller size; no refund. I even put a letter in the box that was returned stating that I did NOT want a refund that I only wanted a smaller size. I included my name, address, cell phone number and email and asked to be informed of the outcome of my request. And a few days later, I was REFUNDED THE MONEY without notice. Not only did I have to "re-buy" these shoes, but I also had to pay an EXTRA 17$ for them as the price went up. I am EXTREMELY upset with Amazon, and I do a LOT of business with them. My point is, make SURE you get the right size, because NO exchanges will be made. I have also included the letter I sent to them, and signed my name on the sent copy.

This was my 9-year old's first pair of Ariats. They were a bit big, but he didn't mind (with some thicker socks). He can grow into them and pass them down to his little brother. The leather from the ankle to calf is soft (but comfortable). We got the boots in record time (via Prime). My boy took them out of the box, put them on, wore them on a flight to Texas, and did not take them off for three days. He loves them.

Great boot in every size.

Fit great. Bought one size larger then my son actually wears. Love the removable booster for when my son's feet get bigger. Keeps a snug fit as they grow. He is happy and says they feel nice. My brother has had these in adult mens for a few years and they are one of his faves. I will be getting myself a pair also.

Nice boots- definitely run large

Nice boots- definitely run large. Insole is removable to give you a little more time before they outgrow them, but when I removed it to see, it was stuck and pulled out the whole insole. Not a big deal. Nice boots overall, but run big. My son liked them so much he didn't even want me to exchange them for a half size smaller.
