Cute and Comfy Rainboots!
I debated between these and some Hunters, but after reading far too many reviews about the Hunters cracking just after the year warranty ran out (conveniently) and how the Hunter customer service was unhelpful in resolving the situations. I decided to go with the Kamiks. Then I had a tough time deciding which size to get in the Jennifer. Seems like most reviewers offered advise to order up a size. So I am hoping to give as much help as I can to those who are wondering which size is best for you:) These rain boots are very cute and comfortable. I almost always wear a 9 but I do have some 8.5s in Puma lace up athletic shoes, although my puma ballet flats (the Zandy and Bixley) are all 9s. Most of flip flops are 9s no matter what brand. Converse Chuck taylors are a women's 8/mens 6, which are a tiny bit big but fit comfortably. I have a couple 8.5s Donald Pliner lower heeled pumps, and some coach loafers. I also have a few 9.5s in Donald Pliner, and Cole Haan boots. But I almost always wear a 9. I have 3 pairs of rain boots two from target and another pair from eBay that don't appear to have a name brand those are all 9s. They are on the big side, but the 8s were too short so I put thick shoe inserts in the spring and fall months and in the winter just use fleece liners from Capelli and I have no issue with them fitting too small, if anything in the spring and summer months they are a smidge big on me. I have 13-13.5" calves at the largest part and a fairly slender foot. I do not need to buy narrow shoes and only have one or 2 pairs in narrow, by pure chance. I purchased what I felt would likely fit (size 9) and then got scared they wouldn't fit and also ordered 10s. The 10s were HUGE on me they are too big just about everywhere they could be and my heel was very loose in the boots and made the weird walloping rain boot sound when I walked noisily around my house. The only place they still fit okay was my calves, I still had plenty of room for fleece liner. When I took them off they came off easily enough. So I tried the 9s thinking they would be too small to fit the fleece liners I have for rain boots. They fit like my other 3 size 9 rain boots. The 9s are still roomy in the toe box area they have room in the heel, not as much as the 10s, but still roomy. I also put my shoe inserts in the Jennifer's and they fit great! I almost wonder if I could even go down to an 8... but my fleece liners fit in my rainbows great and I have decided just to keep the 9s as I think an 8 would not allow for me to wear the fleece liners I have for the winter. I tried on the rain boots with skinny jeans inside my rain boots and the fleece liners on and I had no issues at all with any part of the boots being too tight. The tightest part of the boots for me was the top of my foot towards my ankles. but I think both the 9s and 10s fit the same on that area. It was not uncomfortable at all, but perhaps someone with thicker feet might find it too tight. Removing the size 9 Jennifers was no issue as well, I took them off fairly slowly and my sock needed a bit of adjusting but that was it. I can see where they could be more difficult, but I had no problems:) So far I recommend these rain boots, they look nicely made and felt nice and light on my feet compared to my older heavier rain boots anyways. As far as color goes the the turquoise is not quite as blue-green as I had hoped (when I think turquoise, i think of a bit more green in the blue almost kinda towards a robins egg blue but not that green), alllmooost like a bright sky blue, but they are cute and bright so I am keeping them:) The only things I thing I would like to see different is maybe a shiny finish rather than the matte and a really great Legally Blonde/Barbie Box bright pink. The shades Kamik refers to as "pink" are way too purple for me. **The shoe inserts I have that I use for my rain boots are not thin dainty liners they are thick and plush I bought them on clearance at target about a year ago:)

Blown away by these boots!
I ordered these boots in September 2021 thinking that there was a 90% chance I would return them. I live on a small cow farm and I have tried on so many rain boots trying to find a pair that fit my foot and was practical for dirty farm work. I typically wear women’s 9.5-10.5 tennis shoes depending on the brand. I ordered a size 9 in these boots. I do NOT have a wide foot. I weigh about 120 pounds and do NOT have large legs or calves. I am writing this review in January 2023. These boots have exceeded every expectation I have ever had for rain boots. These boots get worn on a daily basis in every single season. Rain, sleet, snow, blazing heat, mud so thick you can’t drive a tractor through it, sloshing through creeks, chasing cows on foot, hiking woods to go deer hunting…. These boots have done it all. In the cold cold winter I like to wear a pair of thick socks with foot warmers on the bottom of my feet. I was going to be happy if I got 5-6 months out of a pair of boots. We are almost to a year and a half of literally daily wear. I will for sure be buying another pair of these when the time comes.

Faulty Product?
So, let me preface this review by saying that Im not sure if I was sent a manufacturing dud or if the product is just very badly (cheaply?) made. However, I must say I was very disappointed. Upon receiving the package, I was very impressed by the sleek and classy look of the boots. I also made sure to order half a size up after ordering a previous pair in my size and realizing the boots ran small. I am an eight and a half for reference, but I went up to a nine. The fit was good and the footbeds felt very comfortable so I was looking forward to wearing them for the first time. All of the reviews said these boots were great, waterproof and cheaper than hunter rain boots. Not to mention feeling attracted to the fact that the kamiks were lighter than hunters and can be sent back to be recycled! As a self professed tree hugger, I must say I really approved! However, that is where all of the positive points ended. Sadly, I wore these boots for the first time two days ago, these was a downpour all day and it was finally cold enough to wear longer boots! I work as a daycare teacher and walk home everyday for exercise. Therefore possessing reliable outdoor gear tog et me through all kinds of weather is key. I had previously b ought the kamik heidi rain boots and though I had only tried those in light rain and walking through dewey grass, they held up just fine and were quite comfortable for all day wear. I wish I could say the same for the kamik jennifer boots. But, unfortunately, on my first day wearing the boors before I left work and started walking home, I noticed that the seams where the boots are attached to the soles have split open on both boots. I though perhaps the toes just got scuffed and I was imagining things. Then I went outside in the rain, and it was pouring! As soon as I left the building, the top part of the boot started to feel cold, at first, I thought it was just a temperature issue sine these boots are not meant to keep you warm. Then, I realized water was actually getting through! As soon as I started walking through some grass and stepped in the first few puddles and water streaming down the sidewalk, I could feel the water rushing into the foot of the boot and soaking the bottom of the boot! I was so upset! This was only the first day wearing them and they are 60 something dollars! It was truly frustrating and uncomfortable having to walk all the way home in the pouring rain knowing that I had wasted my funds on an unreliable product. The only thing that I could think of was maybe it was a defective product. It is normal to have some wear and tear after a few months or a year, especially if the rain boots are on the cheap side. But Kamik as a company is a good outdoor brand and I have friends who swear by their shoes, which is why I was even more upset. The boots shouldnt have completely fallen apart like that after wearing them for only one day! It was a very odd that it should happen, or so I thought, until I got home and looked at some more of the lesser star reviews and realized other people had had similar issues. Who knew! I definitely cannot say that I would recommend these boots. I just hope I can figure out some sort of return or be reimbursed even partially

Great Rainboot - Order a Size Larger
This is a very comfortable rainboot. I had researched this and the Hunter brand, but given the reviews I had read, I went with the Kamiak and am quite pleased. I wear a size 9 but at the recommendation of others, I went one size larger. Although I was worried they might look like clown shoes, in reality, it's the perfect fit. There's not much arch support, so I would recommend inserts if you tend to need more support.

Sadly returning...
Thought I'd solved my wellie boot problem with this find. They arrived early and I immediately put them on. I'm probably a 7.5UK but always size up for comfort to an 8UK. The foot length is fine, maybe a bit wide, however, the ankle area is far too wide for me. I suffer plantar issues and need support, just walking across the living room, my ankle has no support and moves around as there is no grip or shape. This is made worse by the leg fitting. I'm tall 5'11", the boot height is perfect (could hit differently and be awkward if your shorter?), but the top of the boot is skin tight over leggings. I'm active so I do have some good calf muscle, approx 41cm circumference at the widest. Feels like the boots suction on :D That and the goofy ankle... The leg fitting leaves no room for a long thick sock, leg warmers or even double leggings. Might be ok with tights but my feet would feet like they were in boats. Worth a gamble, sadly back to the drawing board.

The size 7 red boots leak (left book at heel)
I am very disappointed. I ordered the size 7 red boot around January and the left boots started to leak after 2 weeks (the black heel separates from the red body). I returned it and in the hopes that it was just one lemon ordered the size 7 red boots again. Well the left boot is leaking at the d=same spot as the previous pair - unfortunately for me we have had a couple of relatively dry weeks and I only wore them again yesterday but I am 9 days past the return date. So now I'm stuck with a leaking boot though I will try "shoe goo" to hopefully seal it. This is a shame since the boot was attractive and very comfortable. I used them for hiking in the woods and as a result the boot is submerged when crossing streams or wading through puddles. I suppose if you only wear them on a city street and don't step in water that goes over the depth of the heel it would be fine. I had wanted to order a Canadian product but have now got Hunters since they are a durable boot.

I have been trying for years to find good quality rain boots
I have been trying for years to find good quality rain boots. I use them everyday when I walk my dog in every kind of weather - snow, slush, rain, mud. I've tried generic boots and the rubber split after getting snagged on a twig. I tried Hunter boots and the soles cracked at the ball of the foot and the heel after a year. I tried hunting boots and the soles started coming away from the boot after a few months. These boots, so far, have been amazing. The soles have good grips for muddy walks and thus far no leaks! They fit well and are very comfortable. The ankles were a bit tight at first, but with wear they seem to have molded to the perfect shape. Would recommend wearing full length socks rather than ankle socks though.

Gorgeous boot, fits tightly around the leg.
The boots are amazing, but the calf fits REALLY tight! My calves are not overly thick, most boots that fit my clown feet are too loose around my calves but these ones have actually cut in. It makes putting the boots on and taking them off is difficult. If they weren't mucky from my first use, I would have requested a refund and sent them back since I don't need such high boots. The quality of the boot is very good though and I would highly recommend them other than the fit around the calf.
