Don't stay put

These are higher waisted than I wanted. The go at least 2" past my belly button and past the bottom of my rib cage, which makes the waist band slide down. I tried to fold it over but it won't stay put that way. No compression. Good stretch. Not see through. Legs ride up easily. You'll be forever pulling them down if you try to exercise in these or generally just move around. They're shorter than they appear in the photos. The back barely covers the butt cheeks. I wouldn't wear these anywhere someone can see me but they're pretty comfortable around home.

No compression, not for running

This review is for if you're tempted to try them for running. I find most running brands offer "compression shorts" that offer NO compression at all. Brands like 2XU have true compression, but then you're paying $80 for a pair of shorts. I'm an XS, so I can't usually size down to fake extra compression. Everyone seems to say Capezio runs small and I have a wrap cardigan from Capezio that is S and fairly tight. So, I figured XS dance shorts might be similar to XXS running shorts and thereby provide some compression. When I pulled these out of the bag I thought AWESOME, they look really small. But they are super crazy stretchy and offer zero resistance, so you get no compression. Also, the leg holes aren't that tight, so I'm entirely sure they would ride up. They are probably very comfy for dancing in, just don't think these are cheap compression run shorts.

Shorts are true to size. They have great colors and very cute design, thick material, however they do ride up and I had to keep pulling the waist portion up during my workout. They did great on my 4 miles run, no ride ups only during a 9 exercise movement workout.

I ordered the turquoise and the color is really nice and the general fit is accurate. I am a size 12 and the large fits well except the leg is a little shorter than what I was hoping for. From the picture I judged it to be a 3" long leg and it is only 2". Otherwise nice product for a good price.

Perfect!

These are perfect for my needs. As an Irish Dancer, I need a but more coverage under my dress than the typical "bloomers" that are provided by dressmakers (these are poofy underwear style bottoms). These are true high waist, short shorts. They sit right under my booty. I ordered a size XS, and am a 4/6 and felt these fit perfectly with a nice stretch to them. They were perfectly tight to where I didn't feel they were going to slip off when moving in them, but they weren't so unflatteringly tight.

Soooo small

I thought I ordered kids shorts by mistake they are so small. probably size up a lot or maybe mine are defects. they seem like decent quality but kinda thin for gym use

Perfect! But need more sizes/colors

Super comfortable! Stretchy and breathable, and the material is not shiny (which is what I wanted). I just wish they stocked more sizes and colors, the selection is pretty poor.
