A little flimsy

Compared to other goodthreads clothes, these feel flimsy and a little thin. They are also tighter than the pants (which I have a pair in several colors of and love them for work) so the fit is not quite the same.

Overall, almost exactly what I expected. Color definitely desn't look just like the photo. The color of mine are more like a light taupe color (ordered light grey), but it's a nice enough color. The waist size was true to size for me compared to all my other chinos and jeans. Length for me is right above the knee as I expected. Might be a bit longer than most people like, but I like that length. Perhaps not super slim fit, but not baggy or anything. Another minor complaint: I ordered two pairs, and for some reason, one of them seemed a tiny bit larger, so I returned that pair. The first pair fit well. Good basic shorts, especially for the great price.

Just Stretchy Enough

Fit great. Just stretchy enough to give you some flexibility. My new favorite shorts.

Nice material

I didn't keep these shorts because i needed more crotch room. But I can tell you that I liked the lite weight the material that the shorts were made.

Very comfortable but not slim

Very comfortable cotton shorts. Sizing varies between brands - I found these to be a generous cut. It wasn't so obvious when I tried them on, but the cotton loosens up as you wear it. No shrinkage in the wash that I've noticed. I don't like that the cut of the pockets causes them to pucker out a bit rather than lay flat. It's odd because that usually happens only if the pants are too tight and these have excess fabric.

Our Groomsmen Look Really Good!

Bought these as the bottoms for our groomsmen for our more casual wedding! The color is spot on from the picture. The fit was a little more snug than at least 1 preferred but for length and overall, still a good look! I've read that when washed, the bottom seam can wrinkle and I can totally see that happening so I'm opting to do a good steam rather than full on wash before wear to avoid that. The seams and threads weren't the best but for what is possibly a one time use for our quick ceremony, good enough. Our guys are 5'8"-5'9" about 170lbs ish and athletic build with thicker thighs, narrower waists and they ordered their normal size.

Good value for the dollar

These are not pricey , but look fine, fit per your size and the slim fits are slim, but not tight; so they are not restrictive or balloon out from your leg. They are light weight and do the job. They aren't a super high quality, but are and look fine for everyday summer wear; look good, fit well.

A reasonable length for men of a certain age.

Although I prefer to wear 5" inseam shorts these 9" ones are a reasonable compromise for everyday use and certainly better in my opinion to the shorts which cover one's knees and flap around like recycled curtains. Fortunately they pass my wife's test, not too short and not too long.

Good value

These are decent value shorts...they're a smart and comfortable fit/length and the fit is pretty much as advertised. Not too pink which is nice. Good for chilling on your hols!
